i think that i only passed 2 or 3 cars the whole race...lol..and finnished 5th!!! at one point the 6sq was 3 cars ahead of me then them darn tires i flew by him like he wasnt even there...lol...o well at least i out ran both of the sideners and both of them told me that i would never do it..lol...he carl i got er done...lol...duke me and go get more dq now i have had my best feature finnish 5th and then i get another for passen the most cars...lol

What did 5th pay? I got 25 for ninth, and oh yeah, one extremely bent up car. Oh, and I almost forgot, an awsome headache that has just started to go away. 58
 
I looked at it a little bit this morning, broken left rear axle, left front strut tower is destroyed, right front is tore up pretty bad as well, started to get a little dizzy trying look under the car so I just went back in and laid down the rest of the day. Was it still flipping when you came by? I don't remember seeing any cars while it was happening(and I kept my eyes open!)All I know is I was going to go by Carl and that 99 car and I got on the gas, felt the left rear come up like it should, then a bump and all I saw was the race track coming at me out of the passenger side. I also noted a lot of silver paint on the left rear of the car as well. I know you came over and said something to me after the race, but I don't remember what you said. 58

no you was done flippen when i went by i tried to stop but brakes went out didnt stop till half way around the track!!! the tape duke has shows your wreck good the 40 hit you dead square in the right rear but it didnt look intentional....
 
Hey Rebel, I don't think I am going to go Friday, I went to Lincoln and watched a couple of weeks ago, and wound up being mad 'cause I didn't take my car.......... Anyway, my wife ordered a video from the people that tape them at the track, but if it doesn't show up, I will definitley get ahold of you on here and I will buy a copy from you. Hey, Steph, that purple car looks like it will go pretty good. Good Luck this week.

I like that, Probe People!LOL! I would have raced a couple more times in J'ville, but it sure ain't as much fun when you know you ain't got a snowballs' chance in hell with that 53 and 54 car there. I would have liked to have seen if the 53 would have had enough time to run me down, I was half throttle(no kidding) behind Carl, J.R., and that 99 car.....Me and Dad were kinda sweatin' all year 'cause we didn't find a "parts car", now we have one that ain't fit for parts! I don't know what the deal was with my car, it NEVER handled worth a darn in 3 and 4, it felt like I could could almost flat foot and hold it on the bottom. The older Probes are pretty scarce around here, I figured you guys must got all of them in IL! LOL! We had a pretty good year for our first year; ran in 37 total races, counting heats, dashes and features, won 19(6 features), the only race I didn't finish was the other night.
 
got more wins than me i only got 1 and that was a heat...a lot of 2nds tho!!! probe people...hey now we only got 5 probes!!! lol....we wanted to no if you needed parts cuz we is gonna junk one of them.... JD and Jeff are not really that fast once they made them take all the illegal air system stuff off...well ttyl hope to see you there friday! bye

I did a comparison on the net of the specs of our Probes to the Neons...
The Neons are about 150lb lighter than our Probes
The Probe engine is rated at 110hp
The Neon is rated at 145hp !!! A lot of people are thinking that those two cars are "cheated up"...but after doing this little comparison,I don't think that they are....
Carl & Stephy can flat foot it around J-ville most of the time..talk to either one of them..maybe they can give you some pointers on how they do it. lol, I don't care who runs up front ...as long as it is a Probe !!! :D :D :D
 
I knew what we were giving up HP and torque wise as well to the Neons, I knew they were lighter too, I actually figured they were about 200 lbs lighter. I bet there is quite a few of them next year, that is all anyone talks about looking for. I wish they would look under the hoods of every car every night, I heard a couple of cars out there after I crashed out that sure had that cold air intake sound...........Do you guys know of any rule changes for next year? Butch Woods told me the first rule they were changing was about rollcages; no more of that single hoop stuff, gotta have a full cage and door bars. Some of that stuff they let people run was crazy, especially in those damn trucks, some of them would have gotten seriously hurt if not killed if they did what I did. On that note, I do have to thank Sean Blue of BlueBoyz Racing Supply for building my cage, he did a hell of a job. 58
 
HEY, you guys will get a kick out of this: Steph was the first person to hit my car, remember waiting to go out for that heat race at Pittsfield? I sure never expected to get by the car that was in FRONT of me waiting to go out on the track!LOL! Just having fun with you, don't get mad!!!!! :)

all kidding aside,Stephy has turned from a "girl" racer to a racer now...If you give her a inch...she will take it...she isn't afraid to work on her car either,works right along side of me and carl and can do just about anything that we can do !!!
oooooh....just don't get into a cutdown session with her...you will never win...she is laps ahead of us!!!! Ain't that rite Steph ?? lol.lol.look how she treats ol carl on this board !!! you auta see em go round and round at the race shop !!!!
