As far as Martin's goes, it was a "stock appearing" lower but was an inch too long from what I heard. I'd say Eilers is the same but can't say for sure.

I thought those were nova lowers that were longer----or we could all go back to straight axels LOL

I'm curious how they are measured. Do they measure from the ends? do they measure from the center of the mounts to the center of the ball joint ring? If you run screw in ball joints and have to cut the ring out.. how much tolerance do they give you? No one is going to get it the same..

Jimmy posted this on Facebook about his weekend....

I had a really good time this weekend at Legit Speedway in West Plains. I saw some friends I dont see very much, met some new people and learned a lot. I have to thank my dad for going along, Debbie Wilhelm Cummins for taking care of my dog and Robbie Eilers for all his help and advice and for the chili lol. I am not sure if I know anybody into this stuff as much as him, I think he changed everything except the seat. It was a tough show and I got some luck to make the show but sometimes you got to catch a break. Tech was pretty tough but I like that. I bet 3/4 of the local cars wouldnt pass tech if they checked all the rules around here. I think the promoter down there said it best when he said he wasnt paying close to the payout or most of the payout, he was paying the whole payout he advertised so he expected the cars to be right. I will go back if they have it again next year. I love going to these shows, you got to be up on the wheel. They make you better for sure. Thanks for Shad Prescott for running cross the whole track to put fuel in the car lol

From the way it reads in the post from the track looks like they altered where the ball joint mounts. Wasnt originally that way. They altered it. So if it was bought as a longer A arm like from kaiser is that legal? I know they were measuring everyone's control arms. But some are chevelle stubs some metric and some who claim to be nova stub lol. Ok ghey just use nova lowers but you get the drift.

No, it's not legal. It must match OEM specs, just as the tubular lowers must as well.

Ok so they know the difference between metric and chevelle stubs? Alledged nova stubs and such i take it?

Ok didnt know that Nova lowers are different Thought you had to run what came with the stub

Reason i say that is i i heard a guy tell the tech guy he is running a nova stub since the tech guy knew they were nova lowers. Or least i assumed that is what was up.
