Just Gotta Say ......

People DO realize how much work goes into a track!!!!! Sure, not everyone, but don't sale drivers (or fans for that matter) short.

Have you heard all the frustration in the pits lately??????? What about in the stands??? I'm sure you can see where the frustration is coming from, right?

i wanted to

i wanted to extend my middle finger to a select few saturday night also, but somehow i kept it to myself,i just have to much anger to get back behind the wheel now,it is not healthy for me or for the ones around me.if my wife's grandpa wouldn't of been there i would of been tossed for a few weeks.i'm tired of using diffrent rule books for diffrent nights.most of it doesn't even have to do with my class-i am pissed for the others that keep taking it week after week.I DO THINK THE FLAGMEN ON THE TRACK DO A GOOD JOB,SOMETIMES THEY JUST GET OVERRIDDEN BY OTHERS-so i'm not pissed at ALL THE OFFICIALS just a couple that don't seem to care-i heard the worley girl got released of he duties in the tower the other night, very nice person to be around,i thought she was a compliment to the track????????

Heard the same thing about the Worley girl.....because she didn't "call" or something like that????? NOT!!!!!!!!!! I know for a FACT she called and I know for a FACT that "someone" called her back even. Let's check the call logs, shall we???? By the way, Terry wasn't even the one to release her of her job. Who makes these decisions?

And who released her ????????????

WOW! I don't go to the races for a few weeks and all h*** breaks loose! Just curious; what frequency do track officials use for their radios? Maybe if it is well known and folks use their scanners they'll know what happened and why. Could result in a better understanding of the facts in questionable cases. AND, if the officials KNOW everyone can hear them, maybe they'll be on the straight and narrow. Just a thought.

Hey Axeman

Great idea! I've done that at Farmington before. It's amazing what can be heard on there. I had to quit listening to mine because I got so angry.

my dad once told me"you cant hurt someone til you get in there pocket book" we will soon find out!!!!

Let's take a tally here, folks............how many just streetstock drivers does that mean The Rock has already lost?????????? What about modifieds and mini stocks??? Even the dwarf car count is dwendling..........

terry

I know Terry has teh best intentions, he's a busy man, alot to deal with. officiating aside I would like to make a suggestion about the track. I speak for myself as well as a few other drivers, certainly not all, but I would much rather see a smooth black track, than a tacky rough track. My modified just can't withstand those huge holes week after week. every time I go though a mess of them I end up breaking something. this gets very expensive. this is just my opinion but everyone feel free to express thier feelings on this as well.

Just wondering..........where exactly did this meeting take place and who was in attendance? Was it a "secret meeting of the minds"????? Should have invited the racing community. Guarantee you would have had a packed house. Man, I know I would have loved to have been there. New personnell being who???????????? People want to KNOW who will be doing what at the track now.

Anyone??????

I know there are at least two people who can tell us all what "changes" were made, but we just can't seem to get any answers. So, anyone who knows any kind of information, please feel free to post. I'm just curious. I'm just questioning WHO was in charge of this meeting last night and WHO was in attendance. I mean, were all the officials invited to discuss things or was it kind of a "secret, stab-ya-in-the-back" meeting and then others were called and released of their duties? OR, was it a MAN-to-MAN meeting and things were done face-to-face and not over the phone. I just wanted to know.....call me nosey if you want but I'm sure many want to know the same answers.
Questions people have:
1. Who is the new main flagman? I know this one...Derek Crisp
2. What other personnel changes were made?
3. It was mentioned that CHANGES were made...what are they?

Please, anyone, feel free to comment. What are you (as drivers and fans) thinking? Positive or negative!!!!! That's what this forum is for.

Maybe we should.......

call the Allied officials and see if they'll come down and run the races. Oh, I forgot they're at Belleville on Friday nights! Dang it! I think the main thing that scares the s**t out of me in this whole deal with the way things are being run is driver safety. To me hot laps should have never been run Friday night, that track was not ready to be run on. If I recall correctly there were 4 or 5 cars that wrecked during hot laps just because the track was way, way to wet. That's not safe, and the drivers get nothing out of running the laps. Plus I know of at least two modified drivers who didn't run hot laps because they were waiting to see what happened with the track after hot laps. If it didn't dry up or fell apart they were loading up and heading home. We spoke with Terry after the races and he told us he was planning on the sun coming out during the day but it didn't that's why it was so wet. I know there's a fine science to getting the track ready but that's just not acceptable, it's dangerous and it's murder on equipment. As for the calls being made, there has got to be consistency, are there any rules and regulation written down anywhere that state how certain situations should be handled? To me that might be a good start, putting something together giving a copy to each official and driver and letting everyone know that the rules WILL BE ENFORCED! And they have to be enforced the same for everyone. Just seems like things are so out of control right now that if someone doesn't take the horse by the reigns, things are just going to continue to get worse and someone's either going to get hurt really bad or they're won't be any racing at The Rock or possibly both.
