It shows you how good of a guy Kenny Wallace really is when he is worried about what some select few race fans in St. Louis think about him racing around here. He should not even be thinking about that he should be celebrating the fact that he just raced in one of the biggest races in the world. Great Job Kenny and keep on coming back to the STL.

What kind of a nit- wit would not want Herman or Schrader to race in the St. Louis area?? Does this skull full of mush not understand that these two cats could race at any damn track they want to ,but elect to come back home as often as their schedule allows them, to race with their friends and be there for there loyal fans?

I remember Herman riding his bike thru Arnold and stopping at my neighbors stock car garage on Jeffco Blvd. I know Herman loves his roots here. He always mentions" ST, LOUIS MISSOURI" on his broadcast's!!!!

Kenny please keep coming home to race our family loves to watch you race on dirt at Pevely. It has always touched my heart that you and Schrader have not forgotten all of us regular everyday people that are just raising our families without much excitment to our lives. None of us are anyone special but you keep coming and treat us all as if we are just because we are your home town people.
I am very proud to have you represent me and my family and our proud state. We make sure we watch you every week and you never let us down your always good old Kenny from Missouri. Your the one of the best people to represent our state, keep up the good work and know we are proud of you and behind you 100%.

I know I am way behind on all these threads and missed the voting but wanted to have a chance to give my support for both Kenny Wallace and Kenny Schrader.
 
Kenny - it's been awhile since I got on the site here - so I don't know what started all this - BUT

Anyone who doesn't appreciate you and Schrader coming here and racing is nothing but an idiot, and definitely not a race fan. You guys coming here is awesome! I love to watch you guys race - and it's not like you have any performance advantage over the top 10 local cars in either Late Models or Mods. In fact - I think that the locals have the advantage over you guys due to being more familiar with the track conditions. Makes it more fun to see if you and Schrader can beat them!

COME ON BACK - AND BRING SOME OF THE NASCAR BOYS WITH YA! Show 'em what real racing is......:p:D
 
I have to agree with Racinfan83, I can't believe that anyone wouldn't appreciate Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader. They take time out of their busy schedules to come here and race at tracks year. I look forward to the MS race every year in Highland when they come and race. They always end up putting on a really good show. I hope that they will think twice about not coming back, it would be sad if they never come back to their home town to race. I hope to see Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader back @ Highland this year.
 
I look forward to seeing the races when I hear either or both Kenny's are coming in. Like it has been said several times I think the local drivers step it up a notch when they are on the track with/against them.

When my son goes up to either of the Kenny's they are more than willing to take time to say "HI" and sign an autograph or pose for a quick picture for my son. It is a thrill for him to see Kenny Wallace on TV as an announcer and racing and also see Ken Schrader running on the track and then get to meet him in person. I have explained that they got their start here in STL and moved through the ranks to where they are today. To hear Kenny Wallace say St. Louis as his hometown is neat to hear.

I think of it this way... it is neat for me, but it is more important how the drivers treat my son when he approaches them. To have them just take a moment of their valuable time for them him is much appreciated for him and me.

In keeping with the current trend... I walked into your trailer at Tri--City a few years ago, to speak to Rich Steyh. You walked right up to me and said "hi". Not "what the heck are you doin in here!" Who are you? What do you want? Just a smile and "Hi" Thats hometown... Thats family... Thats evidently more than "morons" would take the simple time to do.. Who cares what you have in your motor!! The rules are the same for everyone. Thanks for asking us at home, but the words of a few dont hold for the majority. Jason Brewington...

Mr Wallace i think this thread started out to be a sad piece or work. And as everyone can see it has become a cheering section for yourself. I consider it a joy for you and Mr Schrader to come to " our " hometown track. I have seen " celebrities " be BEAT by our drivers. It is all in fun and us fans get a thrill out of seeing you. I have never had the privilage of meeting you, but seeing you on TV and in other situations i think our track is being represented proudly when you visit us. You are more than welcome anytime... to race or watch we would love to have you ! LeaDonna ( aka LD ) :)
