Kyle Busch-Hornaday incident

I love watching the trucks. Whole lot better racing than the COT's. Race was good till this happened. I beleive it was on lap 15. My view...Busch hopefully will be parked Sunday. Destroyed 2 trucks...could have hurt alot of people(look at the way Hornaday's truck hit...and both trucks came down the track!). If nascar brushes this aside...im all done with them all. Someone is going to be hurt or killed with the stupid antics going on the tracks. Settle it in the garage and quit tearing up sponsor dollar paid trucks!!!! If i worked for Kyle....id be waiting for him with a potatoe sack and have a lil party on his head! Guys put 100's of hours in those trucks and some show no respect for that. Here is the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWTNDIZXdMQ

I agree. Enough is enough. he took Hornaday's title chances away........nascar should do the same with him. I liked Hornaday's interview. Said Kyle lives very close to him. If nascar doesnt do anything to him.......he will be at his front door early monday morning.

NASCAR to meet with Kyle Busch Saturday morning: Tempers flared early in Friday night's truck race at Texas Motor Speedway. As they ran three-wide early in Friday's race, Ron Hornaday moved up the track, causing Kyle Busch, running on the outside, to hit the wall. Hornaday also hit it. As they slowly went around the track, Busch ran up on the rear of Hornaday and caused Hornaday to smack the wall head-on in what was hard contact. Hornaday was uninjured. NASCAR called Busch to the hauler to meet with officials after the race. NASCAR met with Kyle Busch for less than five minutes on Friday night after the race. They will meet with Busch before Saturday morning's Cup practice (which is at 8:45am/et) to discuss the incident. Hornaday went to the NASCAR hauler (he wasn't called there by officials) after Kyle left and said: "If NASCAR doesn't (park Busch), I'm hanging around, and I'm going to buy Tommy Baldwin's ride and that guy will never finish another race. That's a promise. He's got to be parked. They did it to Harvick at Martinsville.'' Hornaday was reminded that the Harvick parking was in 2002, which Hornday said: "So, let's have at it? So I can go over and beat his *** and let's have at it? He lives too close to me. We'll see what NASCAR does. If they don't handle it right, I'll be over at his house Monday morning.''(http://hamptonroads.com/2011/11/hornaday-says-kyle-busch-should-get-whooping-wrecking-him

I am not a Kyle Busch fan, but might be now. He may have over REacted, but guys.....Hornaday is the 1 who lost control of his truck, not Kyle. If Hornaday was so worried about points racin then he should have backed off instead of taking out a "heavy hitter". You think Bloomer or Moyer wouldnt dump a guy who rubbed them the wrong way?

I feel the exact opposite of racin90. If Nascar sits a guy after the "have at it boys" comments BY Nascar then I will be officially out! It is barely entertaining anyways.

I respect your opinion and your post. Everyone has an opinion and thats what makes forums possible. Good post

Ky.Busch is a *****ING IDIOT!!!!!!! Every year,he finds a way to screw up his own chance at a title, let alone screwing someone else. WWE Racing Series.......LOL!

: NASCAR announced Saturday morning that they have parked Kyle Busch for the remainder of the Texas race weekend. He will not be allowed to participate in the Nationwide or Cup races. He will be replaced in the Cup race by Michael McDowell and by Denny Hamlin in the Nationwide race. Further penalties against Busch could be announced early in the week.(11-5-2011

Joe Gibbs called Kyle Busch's actions last night in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series a "tough situation" during a press conference this morning at Texas Motor Speedway. Gibbs called his conversation with Busch this morning "personal." He stated that the team has not been able to talk to all of the team's partners including M&M's and they will handle that matter appropriately. Gibbs did state that he has "great faith" in NASCAR's decisions that they make. Gibbs also said, "From a team standpoint, they will try and handle this the right way

I love Gibbs!! He showed alot of class in doing what he is doing......taking care of his sponsors!! No sponsors.......no race. I dont think Kyle realizes you do things like you did friday.......you not only affect yourself.....but peoples jobs. I hope Mcdowell does a great job because im sure M and M's isnt too happy about the deal. If you watch the replay...Hornaday got loose passing another car. Got him loose and he went up and grazed Kyle. How many trucks did we see loose last night??All!!!!!!! One thing Kyle might take from this is.....you blame being wrecked for the last 4 weeks. Get wrecked and settle it that night or day.......rather than running to your hauler and excaping the said individuals.

dude you roll off in to the corner at 180mph and hit the brakes in the middle of the corner, you take half the field with you. dumbo had a brake pedal he was on the outside he sould of uesd it. this is a good reason for nascar to take a look at there idea of racing in a divison and not getting points. if these cup drivers have enough money to own a team they should be an owner and not a driver in more than 1 series.

The bad part about any situation like that is this. 1. the driver gets pissed and is blinded by the I am going to get even and show the other driver I did not appreciate that. 2. He not only wrecked two good trucks, but could have seriously hurt or even worse killed Ron for turning him straight into the wall at 140 mph. 3. Now too the biggest picture of all he not only frustrates all the owners involved, but you can be sure the SPONSORS are watching very closely and something like that could cause him to be pulled. Sponsors believe it or not in the grand stage do not live by the saying any publicity is good.

I hope M&Ms pulls their sponsorship from Crybaby Busch and gives it to somebody more deserving. There's no excuse, absolutely none, for doing what the little idiot did.

Well everyone complained that nascar was not letting the drivers race and controlling them to much. Then nascar or should we say cashcar said they would let the drivers settle it. Now they change their mind again and pull this crap. Nascar is full of two face idiots in charge and they only care about their image. Kyle should not have done what he did but sometimes emotion takes over and you react. I think nascar should only have penalized him in the truck division not everything. JMO.

The problem with last night was that the caution was out. Retards that like to tear stuff up under caution probably should just do the demo derby deal.

I feel sorry for the guys who get these trucks ready for race day. Either the crews building these cars or the crew getting him set up on practice day. Seeing their hard work being smashed in less that 20 laps has got to be depressing.

...really? Put down the hash pipe. Busch squeezed Hornaday between a lapped truck who was going 20mph slower. Thats why Hornaday got squirelly. IT WAS THE 17th LAP!!!!!!! Not for a win...Then Busch plowed him UNDER CAUTION and sent him head on in the wall. What a total loser. He could win every race for the next decade and he'd still be a flat-out loser. "Boys have at it" should extend to the garage area, where a 90lb Beavis and Butthead clone like Busch cant hide behind his helmet or use his racecar as a weapon. Richard Childress and Jimmy Spencer know how to handle the Busch Bros.

The comments about the crew members working on the cars or trucks it is their job Kyle has to pay for his truck, hell it is job security.Nascar did say have at it boys,Kyle is small and if lets one guy run him over then everyone else will think they can get away with it.He was vicious how he turned ron into the wall head on though.Hornaday has wrecked his share of competitors also just not like that.

Didnt aaron wood see hornaday cause the caution? You must have never been fast and get taken out b4. Kyle REacted, didnt just crash a guy for no reason.

First of all - I think Kyle Busch is one of the most talented drivers ever to strap into a NASCAR race car. I have enjoyed watching him race because he is so competitive. With that said - I think Kyle Busch should be punished to the highest extent of punishment ever given to a NASCAR Race Car Driver! To me this was the last straw! I firmly believe in the "Boys Have At It" philosophy but this is rediculous. With his talent, there is absolutely NO REASON that he had to react like he did. TOTAL DISREGARD for his fellow driver's safety as well as his own. His actions, IN MY OPINION, are the kinds of actions that are ruining NASCAR today. All the talent in the world but absolutely NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE! I am now thinking that he should be suspended from NASCAR in ALL DIVISIONS for at least the rest of the year and fined $1,000,000 for his actions.
