Lapped cars

Tracy, I respect you for making that statement. I think that it is definatly time that some of these drivers and fans stick together to prove a point. By doing this it will not hurt anyone in the points to make their stand. BUT i will tell you i was told this morning by someone that the only way this would change is to make a point in someones pocket !!!! :rolleyes: Might be the answer.... everyone keep their money and see what happens...... No need to. The Duck already got shot. I have a bent front stub, bent upper controll arm, 2 bent wheels, and alot of body work to fix. Can I say lapped traffic!!!!
 
How about it, Wolf & JPR - are you in for it too? The 5 of you are the ones who have shown up week after week to support the track faithfully. I believe that if you all do this, some eyes will be opened and some changes may be made.

I remember racing at TCS and hearing "If you don't like it, race somewhere else." Well, guess what? About 8 drivers found other tracks to race at. If you're not appreciated or treated like the proverbial red-headded stepchild, why bother??
 
This will ONLY work if EVERYONE takes the stand together. There is a point to be made. Maybe some of the other classes of cars will do this same thing ? Who knows..... LeaDonna

Don't know JPR so I can't say how I feel about him.......
 
Yes, but as LD said - if everyone would do it, then the point will definately be made. I'm sure they've had their share of complaints. Now is the time to band together and work as a team to get something done.

You will only be the second person who has said that and stuck by it. The other one being a sportsman driver who says he won't be back until they get new scorers.

If you don't run at the Rock Friday, come on up to Doe Run. You will like the track.
 
if i can find some gears

mike ,if i can find some gears for my car i may very well come down and test out the track.i may even run my fred rock gears just to get in a few laps,i got to take it easy cause of the points race saturday-so i may not be up front but atleast i can see how everthing goes and go from there-i know of another that plans on making the trip-i'm not 100% sure for friday as of yet,but i won't be racing the rock this week,shannon
 
Lapped cars will automatically go to the back of the pack from this point on. This rule is in effect from this point on at the Fredericktown Raceway.

You are not going to be the only one show up... You seem to forget about the rest of us..... LOL... No, we need to be racing at Fredericktown this Friday night..

Millsey, I beg to differ on this. This change came into effect Saturday night during the modified race. Kennedy had just gotten around lap traffic, when lo and behold, a caution came out...NEWS FLASH! THIS JUST IN!...lap traffic was put to the back. Granted this did not prevent Kenny from securing the win..but FAIR IS FAIR...shouldn't the other racers have had to pass the lap traffic too? Which is my point..changing the rules WHENEVER. Depending on the situation, or more importantly, who was involved, the rules get changed, bent, modified, etc..ANOTHER PROBLEM at the "ROCK"? For example, Saturday night a certain racer that hardly shows up in FredRock, if ever, failed to make weight...yet when he was made to back up and try again...SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!..he made weight.. Maybe the scales are off? ANOTHER PROBLEM? Just my observations...pwracing's better half...
 
Well, sorry to tell you but the lapped vehicle rule was not in effect then. It was not even brought up until a meeting last night.
I do know what you're saying about the changing this and changing that, but you have a rookie promoter trying to learn what is best for his particular track. That is why they are doing what they are doing right now.
As far as the scales go, I can't tell you because I'm never around the scales when they weigh in, but they are not going to cheat for a particular driver if that is what you are implying.
 
As far as the RAMS races go we do not have another race at the Rock this year. I belive other tracks put lapped cars where they are running not in the back. I could be wrong but I don't think they are going to change the way they run their races for one class.
