this is a disscussion board open conversation does the truth hurt you or what you said you would talk to me openly you was 1 sidded an barred me for no reason i have proof by a man who gave me a ride 1/2 way back to fix stephs car an did you listen to youre video which was right over my shoulder bet not you an i both no there was stuff said that wasnt true i did not do any of it and it made me mad when the law was called on me 4 no reason thats why i said if you dont talk to me i would go to the fair board i attempted calling you an you wasnt even gonna listen to what i had to say you was very rude wouldnt listen an hung up on me so you want to talk we will in front of some1 that way they no whats said an what aint im not the one who wanted to come there this year in the 1st place my daughter is you said i could go in the stands an watch but some1 has 2 park the truck steph couldnt have pulled that trailer threw there they said if i was gonna park the truck i had to buy a pit pass if not get the truck out
so i did i was going by what you said no pit pass i only wanted to watch my daughter race that day but imagine this i didnt even get to do that i was treated wrong from the start if you would like to talk off of this forum board p/m me all i want is a fair shake i fell like this i could have been beside you all day an you would have still got reports i was doing stuff hope you do figure out how to get the ruts out it would be a nice track hint hint needs more clay
 
First off, I am not one of the owners of Lincoln Speedway.
Yes this is a open board. Believe me I believe in free speach. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. I spent time in Korea and Honduras helping to defend peoples rights.
However freedom of speech does not give someone the right to libel a person or business. The chat forum 4.m just posted a message to all members on the possibilty that it would have to shut down over similiar issues.(not Lincoln related).
I can tell you that I was at Lincoln the night in question. I do know this. You were banned from that track last year, indefinitely. You made the decision to come over there this year,and with that you open yourself up to potential problems. Now your daughter was welcome but you were not. What should they have done? I also know this, while your daughter was racing and you were in the grandstand area, you were very vocal. Vocal to the point of some other fans complaining and becoming uncomfortable. So this MIGHT be why the police were called. Also your daughter posted on here that the tow truck drivers were mad at her and smashed her front end on purpose. That is absolutly not true. As they were pulling her they had to slow quickly and the car came forward and hit the truck. Maybe had she had a tow chain attached to the front of the car as the rules state this might not of happened.
The one thing you said correct is that it was rough. That night the track had huge ruts. I can assure you this is something they are trying very hard to remedy. Remember that Lincoln is only 1 1/4 years old. Tracks just don't start brand new and be perfect. In closing I would like to say that your daughter appears to be becoming a very good racer. She raced fair and hard. Also think about it , life is to short to constantly rant and rave over something that now can be unchanged. Apply that energy to you and your daughterd cars. And seriously, Gary is not equivilant to chicken parts as you might think. Have a great weekend, and good luck in your future racing.
 
well there was a tow chain on her car an she asked them to push her an they wouldnt plus i was told i could come back an no i was not vocal any way the cops were called cause i was suppose to be drinking an drunk an driving a racecar on the street so get youre story straight you wanna talk libal what about the slander on my name about that
 
ps is that tow truck company still there? i heard that got fired because they kept turning over other cars by a security gard that got fired that same night. and the security guy that works the pit gate told another security gard that he would have me barred before the night was over with. and steph told me that they werent going fast they took off really fast and thats when the car went to the front. oh and what happend to the 40 car the week after with a tow truck?
 
im not here to bash lincoln speedway in any way shape or form but i will tell you what is going to happen. that track has a set of rules, but they only apply to certain people, there is a NO TOLERANCE alcohol rule,but depending who you are, that rule is sometimes chided.my ol man and a friend of mine that drove from almost burlington iowa worked as security, every week they would have a meeting in the pit shack, every week gary would tell them, if ya find booze they are out ! BUT, when booze was found, on this one particular incident, gary would not back security up. In fact my ol man and my friend quit after it, because Gary did not believe that my ol man wasnt the one who got in someones truck to look in their cooler. it was one of the other security guys, and the racer had told gary that one of his security guys had gotten in his truck, opened the cooler and there was beer in it...the driver and the security guy that BLAMED it on my ol man both had the same story, so i would say that if they both had the same story , then that would have to be the secuirty guy that is the one who did it because he knew the details...anyway my ol man felt like gary wouldnt back him so he quit...if there is a no tolerance rule it should be enforced for EVERYONE, not just the nobodies, and the more famous ones can get away with it. the track surface is horrible and there are many many people from different tracks that i know wont come back because of it. they cant expect people to bring their cars there only to recieve thousands of dollars in damages because the track ****s. as far as the illegal 4cly...the last time i was there ...there was a car that was decaled to look like dale jr.s car...it didnt even have the factory roof on it..it was made out of aluminum...and they let him run it...now that not only was crap but totally totally dangerous...these 4cyl cars are just getting out of hand...people are spending thousandes of dollars on them ..i dont understand why they just dont move up to street stock...the 4cyl class was meant to be a fun inexpensive class..i race a 4cyl and i do purty good but i race at peoria and there is one or two cars out there that could easily run with street stocks and keep up...its ridiculous...i think if people keep pushing the envelope with the 4cyl ..soon they will not be around because the people who have decent cars and race fair but get their *****es kicked every week by the same people , will get sick of it and will start staying home...why even bother with the features when ya know who is gonna win every week no matter what their starting spot is? it takes all the fun out of it...
 
You know unfortunately there is one key word in your paragraph. QUIT. Its very hard to defend a position when you QUIT. I do agree with you on the 4 cyl. class. There are cars at EVERY track that dominate. You 4 cyl. drivers need to get together and ask your tracks for a claim rule in that class. You might be suprised what a little organization can get you. As long as you individually blow off on a forum and don't approach the owners/promoters nothing will change. Just a thought.
 
There seems to be a bigger issue here...

Tom, why don't you shed a little light on this subject and explain why you are banned from Lincoln in the first place? Then you can go on to tell everyone about all the other races you are banned from and why.

by the way how many tracks is tom barred from other than lincoln? Got barred from lincoln for arguing about all those illegal cars there cant run with umm and that was last year this year got barred for nothing
 
Tom, let me get this right....

You say Lincoln has an awful track, unfair rules, and tow drivers that tear stuff up. You also expect us to believe that you were banned FOREVER (not for the night, not for the season, but FOREVER) just for complaining about illegal cars.

Now with all that in mind you still insist on taking your daughter there to race. Oh yeah, I believe that story.

More likely that not you were complaining about "illegal" cars because you were getting beat. You went on to cause trouble... either fighting, ramming people, or whatever, and they banned you FOREVER. Now being the sourpuss you are you come on here to "get back at them" and complain about a "bad track" and "unfair rules."

That seems much more likely to me...

And that isn't even taking into consideration the fact that you are banned at several other tracks, too!

Why don't you tell everyone how many tracks you are banned at! The pattern of your behavior will not be to hard to realize!
 
well which tracks would u like to see me at other than lincoln and who are you that nos so much and considering that i have never raced there it is kind of hard to beat me and i could care less if my daughter races there or not she is the one that wanted to she likes to race different tracks and if i wanted her to race there her car would have been there all year long because my best friend would have taken her but i wont let her go but she will be there in two weeks cuz he is taking her there. so watch for that car and it will out run most of them there and its bone stock.

Nice how you didn't answer my main question... just how many tracks are you banned from, anyway? I know of at least three, likely more. Hmmm, maybe because you are a no-driving jackhole?
 
ok well since you are the big dog copperhead when would u like to race my dad he can out drive you any day of the week and as for lincoln yeah i was leading the heat with all the slow cars in it that never make the feature i couldnt hang with them in the feature and my dad is barred from 1 track LINCOLN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont worry we dont know who u are but u better be sure you will see my dad at racetracks and for all we know out running u!

Oh really? Is it more than three, maybe four? I know he is banned from Lincoln (1), Jacksonville (2), and is it Pittsfield or Macomb you are banned from too, Tom?

Confront you face to face? I did last Friday when you were talking smack and you turned away and shut up.

Meet you at any race besides Lincoln? OK, Jacksonville on the 24th... Oh wait, you are banned from there, too. OK, how about you tell me where you'll be next... Pittsfield, Macomb, where?

Oh, and to be clear, your daughter isn't a bad driver at all. You, on the other hand, don't know what you are doing. Last Friday they should have restarted your heat when you jumped from 7th to 3rd before the start line!
