I was not at the race , but my son and my brother both were , and from what I understand , Tom got what he had coming after the race.

Copperhead , correct me if I am wrong , but my brother was close to you after the race , and I think you and him gave the same story pretty much word for word, and there are some Eskew fans or family making alot more out of the situation than there really should be.

First off , I raced too , and in my opinion after the checkerd flag dropped , and a guy does what Tom did deserves to be thrown out . Where Jacksonville Speedway officials messed up ,was not giving him 20 minutes to get loaded and gone.

Any one that would intentionally do what Tom Eskew did to Miller deserves to be banned!

As for the coments about Miller "nigger punching "
1) I heard Miller was calmed down ,and someone walked up and told him Tom was running his mouth about how he told Miller off , and told him if he had a problem to bring it on. ... Well , Copperhead , you know jay as well as I do , and we know that he isnt scared of anything or anyone...So he went to confront Tom about it.

When he got there , I heard Tom was with his daughter and 2 other guys when Jay confronted him.(shows he has balls , not to run his mouth behind someones back)

Then I was told after a little mouthing , Tom actually threw the first punch , but didn't make contact , and jay slugged him.
Never was a punch thrown at a 15 year old girl.
I was also told Tom admitted to the police that he threw the first puch , but didnt make contact , and the police told him he needed to get in his truck and go.

2)Know for the coments about giving Miller what Tom should have givin him . Tom flipped Miller , sounds like Tom got what he had coming when Jay dropped him .Why would you come looking for Miller for something Tom done that was totally wrong.Sometimes you need to just look at the situation and say "hey man you did screw up " and leave it at that.That would be what I would have said to Tom if I was a friend or family.Right is right , and wrong is wrong.

3) Bottom line is , Tom needs to admitt he was wrong .
Tom's family and freinds need to admitt he was wrong , and acting like it was Millers fault.
Like I said I dont know Tom , or how bad he really is , but I can tell you one thing for sure . If I had to pick one guy to back me up in a fight , I know I could count on Jay Miller to be there .He isnt the guy to stand behind you , He stands beside you , and if you aren't fast he will be infront of you .

I'd rather walk through hell in gasoline britches as to have Jay after me.He laughs about what took place that night , and everyone else should let it go , and stopp trying to scare him into not showing up again.I am here to tell you that dont know him , He is as nice a guy as you could ever want to meet , until you cross him , then you will see a totally differant side of him .Like tom saw that night .

You odviously didn't get the whole story ,and racing doesn't need someone that would flip a guy on purpose . As for thinking you are going to come here and teach Miller a lesson, alls I can say is he isn't hard to find , but you should think about it before you come looking for trouble.
 
ok to start with umm my dad hasnt replyed because the hard drive went out of the computer so here we go.
1. u say my dad had me and two other guys with him well maybe somebody needs to buy you a new set of eyes because it was me my dad my little 11 year old brother and my dads girlfriends 16 year old neice. We never had two other guys with us.
2. you want me barred from all the tracks as well as my dad could you tell me why because i have NEVER took anybody out on purpose unless somebody spun with me so therefore i dont consider that a bad driver.

Miller and all of his lil buddys did come over to our truck while we was leaving. Some guy came over to my side of the truck knocking on the window and i rolled it down and he started cussing and swinging his arms and the kids in the back seat told me to watch out where i didnt get hit in the head because he almost hit me. He had at least 9 or 10 guys with him and when my family seen that they all came running back because we was following them out. So sounds like all you people need to get your story straight

oh and if my dad would have told the cops that he swung at miller first they would have taken him to jail because whoever swings first goes to jail. and why would somebody be that stupid to go and tell the cops they threw the first punch and missed. by the way my dad dont miss.

I'll tell you why, because you and your dad's form of "racing" is DANGEROUS! Somebody bumps you just wrong and you think it is OK to spin them, roll them, or whatever? THAT IS DANGROUS and is going to get somebody really hurt someday!

I was there and I saw it. My story is straight. I missed the drunk guy going up to your side of the truck (it was raining at the time and I was in my truck). But I did see your dad mouthing the whole way out of the track (I was wondering why his window was down while it was raining). Were there a lot of people around? Yeah! Were they "with Miller"? Nope.

oh and if my dad would have told the cops that he swung at miller first they would have taken him to jail because whoever swings first goes to jail.

Anywho... from what I can gather from your post you think I am mouthing Tom and his driving skills. That just isn't so! Tom might be a very skilled race car driver. I don't know... never paid much attention to him before. I'm just saying he's a dangerous moron who shouldn't be allowed on any track. It kinda makes me wonder if he gets like this on the highway... Do we ram people that cut us off, Tom?

From what I heard , you got dropped , If this isnt the truth I am sorry , but thats the story going around . Idont know you ,or how bad of a man you are , but I can tell you Miller isn't scared of you or anyoone , He is just that kind of guy.He isn't the type to hunt you down , but the kkind you dont want to corner.
If you are such a great driver move up some and show your talent . Maby after a few races you will get a call from the big boys to go to nascar.

I never got on here and claimed I was the best racer to ever run Jacksonville , nor do I care about your driving record at jacksonville. My point is no one builds cars to have them crashed ,and if you do you are a dummy.

You would think you guys are big name drivers the way you are bragging on your self.

Millerfan62, read through here recent posts. She said she'd do the same thing (ie, roll somebody on purpose) that bumps or spins her. Apple doen't fall far from the tree, I guess.

Maybe I'm being overly concerned... but if it was my track and somebody made an annoucement like that, I'd tell them to find another place to drive. Too much liability, IMO. Not to mention running off otherwise good drivers and fans.

Well who knows... maybe you didn't miss. If you didn't I wouldn't admit it, because the other guy never budged! LOL! But you sure as heck "budged" when he swung! You want me to tell you who I am? OK... I'm the guy that was standing ALL ALONE in the pits after you rolled Miller. When you said "He had it coming" I called you a jackass. Remember? You looked right at me and turned away. You kept mouthing (to your friends) and I said a few more things... you wouldn't look back over. I was out there totally ALONE! Everyone else was still out on the track (second heat was getting ready to start and first heat was just getting back). Now who's yellow? LOL!

Well to be honest I didn't see anyone with either guy. Tom had some people in his truck, but not as "backup." Afterall, he was leaving. Miller went up to Tom's truck alone, as far as I could tell. The shouting did attract a small crowd, but they were just standing in the nearby distance watching like everyone else.

I heard somebody else state (off this forum) that is was oh so bad for Miller go to up to Tom's truck... afterall, he was leaving. I just roll (pun intended) my eyes at that.

Tom rolled Miller after the checkered flag (as if when makes a difference) on purpose. To do a stunt like that and not wish more, much less expect a confrontation is insane. Not only that, but Tom mouthed the entire evening.

Oh sure, he was quiet whenever he thought anyone besided family and friends were near. But still he mouthed... Not to mention mouthing the way out of the race.

But even if he didn't mouth... you roll a guy on purpose (which Tom admits to doing!) is WRONG NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON (and Tom doesn't even have one other than getting beat)!

Bottom line is... Miller beat Tom both on and off the track and Tom had both coming!

The only remaining issue is should Tom be allowed back on a race track. Being he still thinks what he did was OK I say NO WAY! And sad to say, but being the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I say the same about his daughter in light of her recent comments.

first off i have never rolled anybody and what my dad said was this "If i would have put my brakes on he would have flipped me" now if it was me and somebody else racing like that i wouldnt hit my brakes where i would flip.. screw that. if thats what you call a bad driver then say whatever you want.

as for the fight i wouldnt call that much of a fight. Miller shoved my dad into the truck and when he did my dads ankle went (Not everybody have perfect bones) and when my dad got up miller punched him then he got up all mad and thats when my uncles and cousins pinned him against the truck because they all know what he does to people. So therefore thats not much of a fight. Miller is lucky they didnt let my dad have at him.

my dad does race a streetstock and is very good in it. We just now are getting the car done for macon and canton.

and for the little smart *** remark about the computer copperhead we didnt post a reply for 3 days so i would think you would be smart enough to figure out the computer was getting a hard drive in it after we told u the hard drive went out. dont sound so bright your self huh.

u say he was bad mouthing all the way out of the racetrack yelling out his window huh well its kind of hard to be doing that when the window is up and the radio playing.

also how can he be bad mouthing after the heat if he loaded his car and went up to the fince to watch me.. and he told me that and if u say he didnt i find it hard to believe because everytime i have been on that racetrack i hear him yelling at me threw the camcordor. So i dont think i can believe he was down there causing trouble. The exact words that came out of millers mouth was "i am going to kill you" i heard that from friend and family and people i dont even know up in the stands. now who does that sound like is starting the fights?

sounds like a bunch of crybabies there at lincoln. was thinking about going there to race but it sounds like the b.s. that goes on at tcs. racers beating and banging there way to the front. i guess every track is the same it's not who you know it's who you blow. if thats how youall race up there i'll stay in g.c.
 
no i'm saying that all tracks have there fav. drivers or cars and if they do something intentional it'll be ok but if they don't like you or your new to the track then your screwed.my home track i can barely rub someone they want to kick me out fo a couple of weeks, the points leader got into me while i was passing him on the bottom on the second lap he cut down on me (not sure if it was intentional or not) and spun me out and another car came around and hit me in my drivers front tire. i got a concussion bent everything on the left front of my ride and they did nothing, he caused the caition but did not lose his spot and went on to win the feature.when new guys show from different tracks the officials are all over them going over the cars with a fine tooth comb but yet will let there fav's slide by on low air pressure when in tech after winning the feature.

LOL! First of all, I'm not going to go hunting you, Tommy. Second, no way I'd go to your house... you want to shoot me or call the police? No thanks! But if you ever wanted to meet I sure wouldn't say no! I told you what I thought of you that night in Jacksonville. Like I said, you walked away like a whipped pup. I doubt another meeting would be any different.

NOTE: I don't know the Tom personally and I really wasnt looking to stir the pot. But when I heard him mouthing Lincoln I guessed it was bc they kicked him out, not bc of the track or officials.

I have seen a lot of fights at races and I hate them. I think it ruins the sport, sometimes. And usually it is over stupid stuff that nobody should be pissed about in the first place.

What made Tom mad that day in the first place I have no idea. But NOTHING would make it OK to roll a guy like he did.

He's a mope and I'm glad he's banned. So far Jacksonville, Lincoln, oh, and Brownstown are all not a little better than Tom isn't around (told you it was three!).
