thats what i run is afco shocks off a late model, and i believe my springs are tru-coil.
 
they seem to work pretty good thats why we bought all of them from that guy so we can try different springs and shocks on dads car i think all together we are getting like 23 or 24 shocks and i think 25 or 30 different sets of springs. did yu build another motor for this year
 
no adam i didnt even tear it down for new bearings or anything didnt do nothing to it, i plan on it but im going to run it first see what kind of times i run with the new suspension ive still got the 437;s in and im sure they will snap b,c kevins off road car really launced hard and if mine does that im sure i wont keep the 437 in it.
 
ive only tried one 4.37 and i blew up as did the other six 4.12s oh well. curious to see what my car does i didnt do a whole lot to the engine except i had pauter grind a new cam and a new set of pistons. ive got another engine that were putting together but it will be a while befor i get it done.
 
im ready for play day ive already said my first few hole shots wont be full throttle, that way i can atleast get a few passes after all the work we did this winter, then ill lay into it and see how long my 437;s last, if i have problems breaking axles, were going to take all the coolling off, put todds extra set of his gears and run comp.
 
yes hes got his heavy frame and play paddles still, his dad also has a car, its going to be pretty heavy and has play paddles as well.
 
heavy might be the way to go this year from 300 feet my car turned better times weighing heavy than it did light but that could also be driver error to but who knows id like to bring my car out for playday but im not sure if im gonna or not either way ill go just to shoot the breez i think we should have a good class this year
 
yea tell me about it, that last race the benfit for donny burns, i took all the weight off and left it at home on accident so i didnt have any way to keep the front end down. i made one pass with just a little gas at the start and ran like a 5.80, then got back in it did the same thing came out at about 3000 rpms and ran a 5.48 go figure lol, then todd gets in it and runs a 5.45 and dont u know he had to tell everyone he ran a better time that i did, **** he even had jeff announce it to everyone there lol.
