It is good to see Conrad winning again. i hope he does better this year than last year. Why did he get claimed last year anyway????????

Cheater

Because he was cheating! Everyone Knows that a 1.9L Escort is not fast.
Niether is a stock 2.3L mustang. Also the 188 cavalier is obviously cheating along with the F5 car. If you lQQk good at the F5 car you can tell he has lowered his car probably with racing spings:mad:. Any of these cars would be good to claim. Get rid of them, this is a stock class!!!!!!!!!!

PS. All of these cars have good drivers. so why do they cheat?

Who in the f*** do you think you are RacingAsAppears? Come down and look at my car! Until you know anything shut your mouth!

F5 has just stated it was OK to come and look at his car. I urge any one in the pits to push down on the front end of the F5 car this Sat. night. (If he is not cheating then he will not mined.) I bet it will be very stiff. Or compare the ride hight to any other Neon at the track. Cheating on the motor is easy to hide, but any moron can see that the F5 is lowered.

Mr. F5
If you are not cheating then you have nothing to hide! But your fellow competitors have a right to know if you are cheating!!!!!;)

PS. Riverbendsports.com has a video from first night at Tri-City. Watch it and notice how low the F5 car sits.

you are welcome to come by and check out the 188 anytime you want

#188-pro four

there are a lot faster cars than the #188 in this class. this is not the #21 or #8 cars that just cleary runs away with any race. so come on down an take a look anytime you want to. but don't be disappointed when you find out that you don't have to CHEAT to be good.we run to have fun, that is what this class is suppose to be about. Thanks

Well mr racingasappears, you seem to think you know alot about this class and its drivers, but tell me 1 thing, what is your real name. I seem to think you are someone we all know.

It's about that time of year again?

My uncle used to say: "You can't polish a turd." ...But maybe you can? Some cars are simply not as good as others in terms of their potential as racecars. On paper, some of these cars that are winning races should probably be getting lapped in their stock configuration. For example, a beat down mid 80's Dodge Omni should not be competitive in the least bit. That goes the same for Escorts and Mustangs that are 15 or more years old. Any "stock" single cam rear-wheel drive vehicle should struggle as well. There simply isnt enough power to weight ratio to hook it up to the racetrack. Granted there are some really good drivers who can hustle the car a bit and squeeze some speed out of anything, but lets be realistic. I think that if you look at the cars that race in this class objectively, it is easy to see why some are better designed to win straight off the assembly line. I don't know what the F5 has under the hood, but that car SHOULD run well. It is a newer model Neon and Chris seems to do a good job behind the wheel. The same goes for Gary and the 188 (dude you have some sh*t luck). He has a late model cavalier with an LN2 2200 5 speed. Its a good motor, I drove one for three years. I'm not saying where theres smoke there isn't fire. I raced against the 7 car twice last year. It was a joke. But the bottom line is that whether someone is "cheating" or not, calling them out on this site doesn't do alot of good. RacingAsAppears, you have been MIA for awhile so you were due to rip someone a new a**. I can't believe it wasn't me. I have been giving you plenty of ammo by smacking the wall at Highland 3 times in one month. I'm just glad you stopped making fun of my haircut.

You can have the fastest car on the track but if you can't drive then you will get passed...... I hear you guys whine and cry about cheating. But if you watch the cars up front they are driving a line all the way around the track. When most are going into turn 1 and washing up then coming back down and those little cars just hummm right by you. Then turn 3 and 4 you wash back up the track and those little cars just hummm right by you.... AGAIN...
A 1.9L may not be fast but he does not drive all over the freakin race track over driving his car. He just gets into a groove and goes. Never washes up or down. The car is hooked up and the driver can flat out drive. Most races are won and lost by the driver not the car.... Really watch the next time they are out on the track. This is an awesome group to watch. Watch how the race progresses. Some try to slingshot like a Latemodel or Mod and get all squirrley and lose valuble time. Others just hum along stay clean and finish ahead. Remember the Aseop's Fable " The Tortoise and the Hare "... The fastest guy did not win....
So what is the fastest car types to run? You seem to think you know the answer.. Obviously if you drive anything else and win you are cheating..... So what is the right combination of car to win that means you do not cheat. And if you claim cars then you are just setting someone out for a few weeks. I for one would tell you to F.O. if you tried to claim my car because these guys have more time than money in them and to replace and to do all that time then it is not worth it. Does not mean they are illegal. Means they havfe more time than money invested and time you can never get back..... So what car do you drive or own that has you so upset Racingasappears? And to flat out say someone is cheating because he has a 1.9L Escort is crazy..... Conrad can flat drive as well as a few other guys out there. I am sure claims will be coming... I guess if you can't win then claim the car. And before you know it no one will be left but you the winner.. What away to win... Get rid of the competiton instead of busting your balls and getting your stuff tweaked to perfection so you can compete... WOW!!! Whiners already  That's right Whiners not Winners

I'm sure that the 188 car has nothing that you can see without tearing down the motor. It's the F5 that is a no brainer. Yes these guys can drive and a lot of the non winning cars are cheating also.

What is your real name. If I remember your the one you stured up crap last year about Matt Hamblin. Well since you know so much or think you know, why don't you have a car and race?

wow not on stl for a couple of days and look what happens A SHOWDOWN. This is good stuff it like a soap opera that you get to read DRAMA.

So i will add my two sense as well

The #8 that was mentioned is now the #50(paint job)

the #7 is bad fast but i know that those escorts are quick(had one)But Miner is a damn good driver and he also has his dad and Schader, if im not mistaken. so this should be expected. Probably running lead, shocks and springs but what the hell right if you cant beat them join them if you have the $$$$$

#F5 maybe is running springs or shortened springs but i dont believe thats the case Chris wants to win straight up like very few racers out there. and even if he was springs arent the issue its the built heads and motors that cause problems for the guys running stock. If you can put a racing spring on your car to help the handling do it i think just about everyone has a spring or two under there car in this class. FYI not me i use spring rubbers thats right all factory suspension with spring rubbers come on down and take a look.

I HOPE ITS DRY SLICK AGAIN

If anyone would like to look at my car that would rock i feel left out #86

Just to clarify, I wasn't intending to disparage anyones driving ability. Miner appears to be a pretty good driver. I just think it's a shame that I55 is such a great track but each year they seem to have the same problem in the Pro-4 class.

my2cents

racingasappears or whatever, FYI, there are a lot of "stock" parts in the world. By definition, they are legal to run in this class. Mix n match is allowed and you're a fool not to experiment. I WON'T speak for any of our drivers, but this is the ONLY way to build a car legally under our rules. You think a lowered car HAS to be illegal??? Stock springs from different vehicles CAN be used AND modified to work properly. Once again, you'd be a fool NOT to try. AS Chris told you, you are welcome to come to my pit and look my car over ANY time we're racing. I've also told our Allied official the same thing AND I challenge ALL our drivers & crews to do the same. OH, and IF my car were to be claimed (with all rules followed), my driver has had orders (since LAST summer) to remove the safety gear and deliver it straight to the claimer, no need to talk it over with me, the owner. Those are the rules we're running by and I don't have a problem with 'em. You got a beef with our guys, build (not buy) yourself a car, join us, & then you have the right to complain. Nuff said....Brad Almond SR. Crash 9 Racing

You go Brad Sr.

Steves car was bad but we almost have it done. We replaced everything on the rt. front, had no choice there wasnt much left. But he should be ready for sat. we just need to get the strut. If anyone nows where one is let me know, its an 85 celica strut.

See you guys sat.
