M.C.S. PLAYDAY Yesterday

Alright guys, I don't see what's up with all the ruckas.Hello people,to my knowledge the truck that is causing all the fuss didn't even race Saturday night. Plus to all the people that are causing such a stink about it, you guys are 1 or more of the following, just jealous because you didn't think of that idea,or you don't like who ever is driving the truck,or you are afraid of losing to the truck and driver, and/or you have issues.

NO, you couldn't be any further from the truth. I was the president of the association for the first three years of it's existance. Every year this issue came up and every year we voted it down. So this is something that won't just slip by.

Rules are rules.. But I still think we can find a body for this guy...If he wants it.. Some body check with him and send me a PM... Jason..

Think CHANGE, Its good

I don't see what all the fuss is about flat sides, Some day soon allot will be needing to put flat sides on, even the Rams , Then the rules will have to change. Its not that flat sides are faster , You still have to weight what 2500 no matter what . I don't know why the group does not worry about just stock motors and suspension, and not the way the car looks .

The group could possibly get more cars to the group with such a small rule change, If the rams don't need more members then just say so. Change is always a good thing , Just think how many you could get with a few rule changes ...

I know i don't have any say but I have my opinions:rolleyes:

No, that's one change that would completely S U C K! We don't want flat sides, we don't need flat sides, and they've been voted down every time it has ever been brought up overwhelmingly. And no change is NOT always good either.

Jeff

What about when all the original panels are all used up and no more s-10 or pintos or mustang panels to be found?

Will everyone in the group have to spend 100 to 200 per panel from the Chevy or ford dealership just to race in the group?

Thats when racing will get expensive for everyone !

Simple solution would be buy sheet metal , one sheet will make 2 or maybe 3 panels. I mean there will always be a pinto or mustang panel in a junk yard somewhere in the country but who will travel 200, 300, 400 or even more miles to get one. Or i guess the panels that get all beat up worn out can be used year after year .Beat them back out and use again. But dont plan on having best of show either.:D

Or I guess racing without bumping and rubbing could be mandatory and save everyones car.

I guess that will come up when the situation comes up in a few years , Then how will the board and members vote?;)

Really!!!

Thelma, if you can't find that body part it's time to move to a different body style. S-10 and body parts are a dime a dozen. Same way with Rangers and that's the one in question. As far as Pintos go, well just do the best you can and think BONDO.... LOL.... But we're not going to sheet metal.

"]"Who is the "we" that you refer to?
Is the above statement yours or is it based on how the majority
of the current membership feels about the flatside situation...
It seems to me that more and more are leaning towards the
flatsides...

the rules are straight from the track web site maybe u should check the rules so u get ur info straight

I know, Lets have a spelling contest!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, how can one redneck hick that built a freaking ministock pickup cause such a ruckas among you flea bitten varmits and he hasn't even raced the "flatsided" truck to my knowledge.

ten speed gear box off a bicycle (THAT WILL NEVER EVER BE ALLOWED) It will be voted out right away , It may cause it to go faster lol:eek:

if i was the guy who owned that truck, i would put a baby bottle on top for all the whiners. Also, why are you griping at this guy. what the hell is up with the flagman? We want the "bird" back!!! That other guy is going to get someone hurt.

This is the funniest thing i have seen all year. This is almost as fun as racing my flatsided truck. I hope drug testing is not manditory because i have to go take something to build the muscles in my legs to pedal my ten speed gear box. Maybe Barry has some extra syringes he can loan me. Oh, the penalty i will be facing is starting off every race in 10th gear. man this will be a workout.
