mmsp I'm told done for the year

Close this sum beach done Jimmy D...dam all this cryin is getting old! I'd say everyone involved had a hand in it failing but Randy was the one who drove the nail in the coffin when he pulled the plug on his money getting blower! Maybe the guy's that helped should grow a set and take equal responsibility in failure! I'm starting to see a clear picture of them all!

Jim didn't QUIT. Nobody is badmouthing anybody for making mistakes, we all do that. The problem is randy just up and throwing in the towel after many made commitments to the operation. I realize you're too busy playing defense to catch that part but maybe one day you will. You are doing the exact same thing as grooverider by making indirect accusations with no content. If Jim "made the biggest one" (mistake) than why has NO ONE mentioned it?..and if u dont know what exactly happened then why ru pointing the finger at Jim Moon? I guess Casey made the biggest one too?
If what is being implied (an inappropriate relationship maybe) happened, then maybe he CAN'T talk about it. If it is anything that involves the legal system, then you can't go online blabbing about it. Nobody owes you an explanation of anything. Your money didn't buy the track. Refunds are getting paid back, that's all he owes anybody. Again, if you feel like you need an explanation then where is your buddy Jim?

Exactly. I can care less who slept with who. Mr. Randy Matlock chose to QUIT and close the track, not fire his promoter and continue on like most business owners would do.
He then has refused 2 Offers to sell the track at a reasonable price so that the loyal racers could continue this season.
I got my pit pass refund - now what about the drivers fund and general admission?

Ameskp :)
Is it your money that bought the track? Then why does it matter to you who or for how much he sells HIS property? Complained about refunds. People are getting those. Now you have to complain about him not selling his own property. Good grief. You want him to sell for a potential loss so YOU and other racers have somewhere to go. Its none of your business what he does with the track. Move on.

No reason for all the hate. Everyone is unhappy about it. I did all I could. I share info given to me by Jim. Why the hate towards me I don't get. I would have helped anyone that stepped up like Jim did. Jim is no hero or Saint. But he stepped up.
I showed people pictures of my toter so people know where to find me at the tracks, No big deal. It's a 30ft trailer extended tongue with a 42ft toter. Like I said who cares.
I do know the facts.
All we can do now is move on. Randy wouldn't sell and won't run it. His choice. Not ours. It shut down because Randy wouldn't let Jim make the decisions. Simple as that. Jim wanted a lease Randy backed out. Now the group that made an offer to buy it out with cash dollars was denied.
Randy got a good track put together after it sat a few years but doesn't understand it takes years to get established. It's sad but true. And all we can do is just move on. He will use the depreciation as a tax write off.

Pay attention, grooverider. I didn't ask for either, a explanation or a refund. Randy must not be taking care of business in multiple aspects. Have a good day folks im done with this thread, that track and you two that are so sure jim was in the wrong but dont really know much.

Share what you know then big mouth! You don't know what happened either. The only person that claims to know anything is westling and his eggs are all in Jim moons basket. 1 sided stories don't interest me.

Your not "sharing" info. It's called gossiping. And it came from jim. Thats 1 side. Sounds like Jim is telling u what to say so u get the blame just like he did with Randy. thanks for pointing put the specs on ur trailer (bcuz that matters)
who cares if Randy sells or writes off? His money he earned it he can do as he pleases! You wanna run something? True ur hauler in, an all ur racing equipment an buy your own damn track!

I talked to Randy right up to the rainout day. The other side is Randy wanted to make a profit right off the bat and didn't. And also wanted all control. Neither was going to work. I appreciate Randy's intentions but also feel he didn't do his homework.
No reason to extend this thread any longer. The only eggs are in my own basket. And having a UMP track within 30 miles from home was my goal.
All these new members just crack me up. I Been on stl racing since 2001 and never had such a bunch of newbies stirring stuff up or twisting things around on something I been involved in.
Fun stuff and quite entertaining I must say.
I'm done posting here. See ya at the track, ya all know where to find me. In my big hauler. Lol

Jimmy, don't you dare shut this down. This is better than Sons of Anarchy!!!

For the first time in recent memory, I gotta agree with Kreke here.

Someone in the know should do their homework. Follow the money to find the story. Sheesh! Even my high school journalism teacher knew that lol.

I'm sure someone's gonna make a stupid comment on this. I look forward to the entertainment.

Randy Vincent

Omg...I just seen a fallen star! Don't worry I wished for forgiveness for Randy for his horrible sins!

I thought size didn't matter but its how fast you are?????

I heard Montgomery might be opening back up in June. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? They are also talking about running Sundays because their research shows they will draw approximately 30 LM, 35 A-Mods, 28 B-Mods, 25 Street Stocks, and 22 Sportman. This is awesome news. I am glad they did their research this time around.

Sounds like a pipe dream to me.

Draw 130 cars on a Sunday night? Good luck with that.

What I have heard though the grapevive is that Randy is going to sit on it and use it for a tax write-off and has no plans on opening it. I really think MMSP is done if Randy owns it.
