Montgomery county motorsports park 2012 new owner ,new name and new face

We are thrilled the wrsd55 are legal, and will plan on running there. Should be a pretty good field of cars. See ya soon
Thanks

Awesome Casey! MC is and always will be home to me. Glad to see her come back to life. Everything you have said sounds awesome. Look forward to turning left and standing on the gas again at MC.

once i get my new modified together, i'll race out there as much as i can. this is the best weekly payout i recall seeing, i hope people support them so that it lasts. it makes a person a hypocrite if they want to complain about tracks not paying enough, and then dont support tracks that do!

that is an awesome payout, good luck casey, and thanks for sticking up for me to my dad, I should of drove into him......lol

Hi Dustin ,

Your right you should have parked him you know how them old men are they still think they can just push their kids around LOL
Good thing for him that you love him .

P.S. you are looking good in the truck !

Casey do you know yet if rwd cars will be legal in the pro 4 class Thanks

I hope they are! I know of some of ministock guys that still have their cars in their garages from when the track closed down. I have had a couple ask me if they will be able to run there.

I-55 allows rear wheel drive cars. There are a couple of mustangs racing in the class. I wouldn't see an issue with them running at Montomery as long as they followed the same tire and engine rules as FWD.

Randy Matlock (former drag racer) & Casey Pearson are scheduled to complete the purchase of Montgomery County Motorsports Park today...plans include lengthening the quarter mile, widening the corners, reducing the banking and replacing the guardrails with concrete walls.

With the sale being completed today, they plan to start immediately on renovations tomorrow.

Put banking back into it. Less bank and longer straights will make it like other tracks in Mo. The banking is what made the track unique.

Agreed! That was one of the reasons fans and racers loved the track. The banking led to very exciting, close and good racing.

Either way, I am glad to see the track reopening. Cant wait to run there again!
