Montgomery motorsports park wow what a night of racing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There must have been too much beer drinking going on *** everybody remembers they had a good time but nobody remembers who was there or who did what!! lol Steve Sr
 
Maybe they just "thought" they had races that night. I agree with retired. With all of the electronic technology of today results should be posted within a short, resonable time after the races end.

i agree retired, people want to know who they are coming to see before getting in car and spending money on gas and tickets. either they are not proud enough of the drivers they have to give them the publicity they deserve for their sponsors and fans or they just don't have a clue what it takes to properly promote.
 
I will post them tonight, sorry for inconvience....It was 4 am when I got home to late to post results ,and Sunday is my family time, I will post them later this evening. Thank you and hope you come out to visit this Saturday.:) They are doing their best to promote this track for our racers and fans, They will get things worked out, Patience PLEASE...I am looking at formats to get things posted as the night progresses, so please hang in there and no need to make negative comments..They are doing their best..And they are very proud of their drivers and crew.

Cindy can you please have the web master put a link on the web site for all of the results.
 
From what I've seen they are doing a heck of a job promoting the place. Hopefully they find a way to post quick results and I'm sure they are working on it.
 
I agree they have improved from week one. I wish they could get started on time though. 11:30 ending time is kinda late. I realize some of that extra time was the drivers not knowing how to drive the first lap of a feature. That was actually pitiful. You would think these drivers would have more skill. But starting hot laps at 7:15 or so instead of 6:30 doesn't help. Overall though, good job!
 
please say when the b main will be, we ran in the last super heat had a flat and had to wait in the infield and then after the race we still had the car up on stands to fix the flat etc... and you called for the b main after 1 b main race for a mods. i mean the a mods had 3 heats to get ready . one official said it would be after the intermission. instead it was after the last super heat. thanks for the officials to give us time to get out there.
 
My family and I have been coming to the track since it reopened. All I can say is "WOW!" I am so impressed with EVERYTHING! We walk in, and are immediately greeted with big smiles from the great ladies in the office. The racing is getting better and better each week. What a fantastic place to enjoy a night of family fun!! Randy & Casey, thank you so much. You all are doing a great job with this track. You can bet that we will keep coming back all summer!
 
If they wouldnt have put water on the track before the b-mods went out, we would not have looked so bad!!!!

I agree with all you said and have to add, We love the fact that there is no alcohol sold a great place to bring my grand kids. To the people behind the scenes that keep the track in line and going THANK YOU! I've missed the races out here.

They put water on the very top of the track to settle some dust... you guys were trying to go 3-4 wide on turns 1-2 on the 1st lap of the race and playing bumper cars, dont blame the track for that. Track officials and crew did an amazing job Saturday night my hats off to them with the 1 day of rain we have had in 6 weeks it cant be easy to get the track to stay that good for a 3 1/2 hour show...
 
I personally believe Casey, Randy and the rest of them guys are doing the best they can to promote this track! Most, not all but most racers have friends and family that come to watch them race, thus knowing the racers, who they are, what class they drive, and where they finished. Yes it is nice to see the results in print, but if you are "new" to racing and I've talked to 4 couples personally at MMSP that were there they had no idea what "dirt track racing" was so I'm sure they don't know about stlracing so it didn't matter to them, They just enjoyed the racing; picking their favorites to win and talking with people around them about their family/ friends that was racing and then having some one to "cheer" on. One couple told me they drove 2 hours to come out "WOW" and the other three said they'd be back weekly! That's good promoting if you ask me when you can get "non racing fans to become racing fans" :cool: By the way isn't this the first year for Randy to "Own/run" a track? and Casey's first year to "manage" a track? To the drivers remember your first year behind the wheel? Kinda like playing Wheel of fortune at home it's real easy to do at home but when you get there it's a whole new "ball of mud" To the owners & all the staff at MMSP I love the new place I think ya'll are doing a great job and I will be there every time the gates open! Keep up the great work!
