More TCS news.. new late model payout as well..

A long time ago they stated they would move to fridays with or without UMP. So obviously they knew there was a chance they wouldnt get it. UMP is not the issue, they got new sponsorships and opportunities for friday nights which allowed them to raise the purses. They have a brand new track, new lighting and did a complete upgrade of the track so how can you say he doesnt care about the fans and drivers???? I dont think they would put millions of dollars in upgrades to a track if they didnt..so thats a pretty dumb statement.

This is exactly the point I tried to make in an earlier post. Like I said then, time will tell if Kevin made the right choice or not. But my money is on TCS coming out smelling like roses. That is if I had any money.

I like both tracks but I believe that Tri-City will have overall better quality LM drivers than Belleville.
M Faust B Faust Collins Kloos Laycock Voigt Etc Etc. and Korte and Manville on occasion. There are others so please dont be offended if I forgot your favorite. Both tracks will do well this year.

that don't make a race

I really wasnt trying to be an a@@ about that. I myself have asked who all will be racing TCS. I just was going through some web-sites to see who has them scheduled weekly, just thought I would post them.
Like I have said before, I dont care who shows as far as big names, I very much enjoy the local guys.

Friday the 13th ~ ~ ~ ~ Phillips & Frye & company from down south will be at TCS ... tell me that won't be a good one ... think Jeremy Payne will be making the trip Hound Daddy ?? I bet you'll be there for that one . ;)

I just read that the modified madness $ 6,000 to win at Lebannon Midway is cancelled for this weekend and will be run next weekend ... so I don't know if Jeremy Payne will be up this way or not ... I hope so .

If you are a loyal Tri-City fan you have been denied,

In addition you state that if Kevin had known he would lose UMP you don't think he would have moved to Friday's

I ask you, then why don't he move back to Sunday's and Keep UMP for the drivers and fans I know of no reason why he can't. Do you really think he has any concern for the fans or the drivers.
no concern at all thats why his building a better facility and raising the purse and not the gate price to help the fans and the racers. gee wiz how old are you racefan maybe you should take a class in common sense belleville will never change you will have your regulars everywk like last year. but i assure you ump is not going to break tcs at all. do you have a season pass to belle claire if not i will buy you one jsut to keep you away from tcs. by th4e way did you see the big dogs will be in town next wk at tcs! i sure kevin is losing sleep tonight thinking about your concerns for him

Belleville Maybe Not Be Breaking Tri City But Ump Will, maybe He's Falling Like Wheatland Is Doing Fancy Track But No Super Late Models On A Weekly Basis Kinda Has That Godfrey Flavor Don't It

you have to be a relative of racefantoo.godfrey had just as many late models as bc last year. oh boy i think everyone will be shocked at the car count i would say more than bc just my thought enjoy the cold friday night and why dont you stop and pick up racefantoo so you can save on gas money.

Remember The Years They Had Mods For The Top Class They Lost Their Hiney With Out Ump Many Of The Driver S That Ran Godfrey Plus With Jacksonville Running On Friday Night What Car Count Do Think Tri City Will Have If They Would 've Stayed On Sunday They Would've Done A Lot Better Get The Show Going No Freak Shows No Messing Around And You Might Have A Crowd

Eight pages of comments on this subject and only about six people have voiced there unconditional support for Tri-City.

Like I said before the facts are what they are and refusing to look at them won't make them go away.

1. Belleville will showcase the premier series in this region on a weekly basis, Tri-City will present a weekly program of crate L.M. no-name L.M. and Mod. and 4cyl.

2. The majority of the racing community don't approve of Tri-City's actions and neither did UMP.

If you want to go see a weekly show featuring drivers that can't keep up over the course of a season with the big boy's, go ahead no one cares. Myself when i go to a weekly show I will be where I can see the best this area has to offer.
