A long time ago they stated they would move to fridays with or without UMP. So obviously they knew there was a chance they wouldnt get it. UMP is not the issue, they got new sponsorships and opportunities for friday nights which allowed them to raise the purses. They have a brand new track, new lighting and did a complete upgrade of the track so how can you say he doesnt care about the fans and drivers???? I dont think they would put millions of dollars in upgrades to a track if they didnt..so thats a pretty dumb statement.
that don't make a race
Both tracks will do well this year.

no concern at all thats why his building a better facility and raising the purse and not the gate price to help the fans and the racers. gee wiz how old are you racefan maybe you should take a class in common sense belleville will never change you will have your regulars everywk like last year. but i assure you ump is not going to break tcs at all. do you have a season pass to belle claire if not i will buy you one jsut to keep you away from tcs. by th4e way did you see the big dogs will be in town next wk at tcs! i sure kevin is losing sleep tonight thinking about your concerns for himIf you are a loyal Tri-City fan you have been denied,
In addition you state that if Kevin had known he would lose UMP you don't think he would have moved to Friday's
I ask you, then why don't he move back to Sunday's and Keep UMP for the drivers and fans I know of no reason why he can't. Do you really think he has any concern for the fans or the drivers.
Belleville Maybe Not Be Breaking Tri City But Ump Will, maybe He's Falling Like Wheatland Is Doing Fancy Track But No Super Late Models On A Weekly Basis Kinda Has That Godfrey Flavor Don't It
Eight pages of comments on this subject and only about six people have voiced there unconditional support for Tri-City.
Like I said before the facts are what they are and refusing to look at them won't make them go away.
1. Belleville will showcase the premier series in this region on a weekly basis, Tri-City will present a weekly program of crate L.M. no-name L.M. and Mod. and 4cyl.
2. The majority of the racing community don't approve of Tri-City's actions and neither did UMP.
If you want to go see a weekly show featuring drivers that can't keep up over the course of a season with the big boy's, go ahead no one cares. Myself when i go to a weekly show I will be where I can see the best this area has to offer.
you dont get out much do you take the bus .........................
