New DOT and EPA rules

Bleed blue16 if your stuff is on the up and up lets let the EPA come in and check and let them decide. I got the number and will make the call if your game. If it is on the up and up you shouldn't be afraid to let them come in.

I am not taking sides at all but the epa is like osha . If they come out they can find a fine for anyone. So before everyone starts threatening calling epa on anyone be aware if they come to your house chances are fairly good they could find something there to. I have seen how these organizations work first hand and everyone is a violator to them.

I agree. Heck.if they walk into my garage....id get fined...lol. Just letting people know they will be watching alot more closely this year and years to come of people who work in their own garages.

Got a ticket here in Georgia last weekend for a "move over" violation. First ticket since I was 16 or 17 and am 57 now. Gonna cost me $400.00 bucks and a day in court. These cities and states are hurting for money and are going to get it one way or another.

the csa2010 is really a good thing and i drive a truck for a living. It will make sure the unsafe drivers and drivers are taken off the road.if the drivers do a good pretrip inspection the the truck then he will have nothing to worry about.strngrthandirt if u got that ticket u deserved it most likely thats a saftey law so emergercy workers and police and do ther jobs as safe as they can.Laws are laws if u break them the city finacnes has nothing to with these laws are in place to keep highways and roads safe for me and u and others so just follow them and u dnt get ticketed.

Yep you can say what ever you like. But' the facts are money is the root to all evils & that is what we are seeing now. Its called GREED!!!!

The DOT is mostly concerned with safe transportation. The EPA is concerned with safe storage and use. Usually of larger quantities. Unless you use creosote or MEK I doubt the EPA would be concerned.

There are plenty of suppliers of chemicals willing to ship UPS to your house. Here are some links:

Google "tire prep" (or softener or treatment or cleaner) to find more products.

If you want to mix your own you can buy the thinners and solvents from the paint stores. http://www.kartingtechinfo.com/tech/prep.htm

Do your tire prep at home and everyone but Racin90 is happy.
