No advertisements because I don't sell prep, just listen.

This whole tire deal is not over. I don't sell prep, I don't advertise prep, but I did at one time. All I'm saying guys and girls is this is going to get very messy and it's not going to be good for anyone involved in racing, including the fans. Well, you people finally got what you asked for and the only way for that to be accomplished is scary, you will hear the and see the truth behind all of it soon enough. I'm not going to say I told you so because I hate where this is headed for everybody, even those that don't care for me. I just hope after all this is said and done that we still having this sport around here. Or, I won't say anymore, just get your popcorn ready.

At one time I handled this topic in a completely horrible way. I don't regret getting into the business I'm in, but I do regret my reactions and comments to what has been said and done. Despite what most think I don't sell prep anymore, I don't advertise prep anymore, and anyone who has called me for prep in the last 7 months got that answer. Some people in this sport are being done wrong because of an assumption or assumed association with me and I understand why because of what at one time I represented. I don't know exactly how much of the truth is about to be exposed, that's not up to me, but I can say that it will shock may of you that aren't so closed minded to not be able to analyze the facts and make your own opinions of the facts stated and proven. That's all I'm going to say because anymore may get me in trouble with the so calleds "gods" of the racing world. Long live dirt track racing!!!

Why didn't you sign your name to the post? From the sound of your comments "someone" is about to name drivers prepping tires. Jmo

Hi Nick...
I didn't mean you. I was just going by your comment "i don't know exactly how much of the truth is about to be exposed" ...that the hammer is about to be dropped naming names.

Names of drivers, more than what has already been said, I'm sure will be named. I'm not sure who will start it but it will not be me and never will be. We are in a transitional stage and I don't believe it will just be drivers of the sport we love that gets smeared. Politics will unfortunately always be involved, and innocent people sometimes take the fall when this is the case. In this case I believe it may be more than just the drivers though. Like I said its not my fight anymore because I'm done, it's not fun anymore. Certain people have an agenda and will do whatever it takes to achieve those goals, even at the cost of innocent people. I'm afraid that some of those innocent people will finally make a stand and it will change the landscape of how our sport is designed. Some will like what dirt racin will become and, well, some will quit going. I never had the intention of hurting the sport I've been involved with my entire life, but others feel they control it and that just isn't the case. All good things come to an end, but I'm not by any means assuming doom and gloom. The result of what is coming may be better, who knows. I am confident in one thing though, innovation will never leave this sport and as one thing may leave another will arise. The ones that truly change this sport for good or bad depending on how you look at it, those are the true pioneers and long lasting figures in anything in life.

I'm not saying what is happening is a bad thing, heck it may be something that has needed to happen. I know I look forward to what the changes will be, change although tough sometimes is what is needed. The ones that adapt are the ones that survive. One thing I've learned in all of this is its easy to be a one hit wonder and then fade away, it's a lot harder to to be successful over a long period of time and stay relavent in an ever changing sport like this one. Maybe that's why we see so much turnover in racing.

Now that your "undectectable" tire dope (claims you have repeatedly made on this forum in the past) are getting busted, you are going to try to distance yourself from all the cheating. Or, maybe your clients are realizing that you are just another snake oil salesman, and have told you to hit the road.

As for the long term health of the sport, catching and penalizing those caught will improve the sport down the road, in my opinion.

I'm not getting what (the only lab being used) is catching, which isn't anything I ever sold. Despite what you think my stuff has never been caught, and my job is still in racing. I'm just going about who I work for in a different way so the attention isn't all on the fact of who I work for.

To get back to the original topic though, at the end of the day prep isn't going anywhere because they aren't catching anything of great importance. The subject of this thread wasn't to say that prep is gone, some other things may be gone once all this is said and done but prep won't be one of them.

I don't sell prep anymore, and when I did I wasn't a snake oil saleman because my products worked.

Not sure why u feel the need to explain urself. Your not the godfather of tire prep. This shit hasbeen around longtime. Who gives cares what anybody thinks!!

OK, now since everyone is coming clean I guess I need to come clean once and for all. There was a time many many moons ago no that don't work let em try again many many years ago while racing at an unnamed track I passed a car under yellow and actually was given that spot but to be fair to my sponsors and car owner I just had to come clean as this has been bothering me for the last 17 years!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew I feel so much better now. I hope no one will look down on me for saying this on a public forum and I hope everyone feels sorry for me and will remain my friend and if you feel really bad please PM me and I will let you know where you can send a check/cash/or certified check to help my race team and of course myself out.

Thanks and Good luck to everyone.

That's funny, but you've obviously misunderstood what I was saying. Laugh it up because it won't be funny when all this hits the fan.

I can tell you i was never a fan of Nick or his products. He will tell you the same thing. But his tire cutting and needling i have always been interested in, although never used because i didn't want to be involved with him so i figured it out on my own. But what I can tell you is, he was a business man in the open trying to make a dollar and his work has shown whether it was soaking, cutting, or siping. The worst part is, he pry has a very good point he trying to get us, and all you want to do is bash this guy till he turns to pulp. Sit back a listen and you just might learn a thing or 2.

I think there are a lot of naive people out there that think their favorite drivers don't cheat tires. I guarantee you anyone who is competitive on a national level is or has at some time...cheated tires. Sticking to their guns with Owens and Feger are going to make this season very interesting.

That being said, I have a very hard time believing that Bloomquist hired you to sipe and needle his tires, Nick. And it's a little suspicious that he's been caught once already this year.

Sounds like a bunch of double talk to me.

Im with Ripperda and Springer. This dude has been places and learned stuff about these tires. I kinda want to see what hes got. I for one am not too smart to learn something new.

I've said every detail that I can, anymore and I could get in trouble. I had over an hour phone call today saying I couldn't say anymore. It's a horrible cliff hanger but it will all play out.
