NOTICE TO ALL WEEKLY TRACKS and SANCTIONING BODIES

Racer 20

The length that you will go to avoid addressing an issue is amazing.

You state that you have had me investigated and imply that you have found through investigation that I have an ulterior motive to discredit you and or your racing series.

For the record I state:

That I do not know you, other than from attending one of your meetings, that I have no motive, nor any affilation with any rival racing series or organization and have no intent to discredit you or your racing series.

As someone involved and partispating in dirt track racing for over 20 years and someone considering your series, I upon reading of the offer that you extended to every racing series in the country became concerned that ,as written, the offer that you had extended posed the very real possiability of undermining the investment and committment made by any racer within the fastrack series.

At the meeting that I attened you pitched (at least as I understood) that the Fastrack National Championship was an exclusive race only for qualified Fastrack members.

I pointed out my concerns to you and you stated that your offer applied only to other CRATE racing series, yet your contract continues to state All WEEKLY RACERS AND OTHER RACING SERIES.

Despite my many requests that you offer clarity and state within your contract CRATE RACING SERIES, you continue to refuse to address the issue.

As far as your creditability is concerned I will let the facts speak for themselves, I noticed that several of the messages that have been posted in response to this issue indicated that a few of them have the ability to think, and I'm sure they can figure it out for themselves.

Fast one 02

I reviewed YOUR post on page two, there is nothing contained in racer 20's press release to support the requirements that you state in your post.

When you have been around racing as long as I have you learn not to believe anything a promotor tells you unless it's in writting.

You can do what you want, take your 6 car series and go find a cornfield to have your race in but I will not support this organization.

Racefantoo,

It has been obvious from your posts that you have had no intention to support Fastrak from the very begining and that your intention is just to start B S and try and discredit someone who obviously has more credibility in his little finger than you do altogether.
Another thing who all did you just slap in the face with your statement about promotors, Stan has done and will do everything he has said he would, thats the reason he can be trusted.

Did his Champions from down south get the point money they were promised. I bet Shannon Buckingham will disagree.

They have posted the payout on 4m already. I believe buckingham is getting 10,000 and the southern guy is getting 14,000. They were supposed to recieve 20,000.

The thing I can't understand is, with Fastrak waving around this $300,000 why are they having so much trouble getting racers and racetrack's to jump on board. It makes one wonder why all these new rules and requirements keep changing trying to attract racers. You would think with that kind of money up for grabs racers would be flocking to this series and I just don't see this happening. And this all for a race that the location and date that YET to be announced. Just me view of the situation.

duh!! the question was "isn't the gm crate motor a 602 or 604????

sure there are others out there but the question was pretty simple

racefantoo I think you are reading something in to this that is'nt there. One, the track that your so called "big dogs" will be racing at will have to be sanctioned by fasttrak and pay the 5 dollars per car. The "big dogs" will have to become a fasttrak member. The "big dog" will have to run 51% of the races at that track. I think that right there will weed out most of the "big dogs". I highly doubht any of the names you've listed will have time to run 51% of the races at any one track or 51% of the traveling races.

"Already sanctioned with another series? Thats fine. Pay the $5.00 per car and sanction with Fastrak as well."

"The weekly fee is only $5.00 per car. That’s it and the only requirement from your teams is to run 51% of the races at your track or in your series. 51% automatically qualifies them to come to the Nationals."

racefantoo
you sir are an idiot, you can't read and it's obvious you have an agenda. I to have been around racing for close to 25 years and I to have no trust in promoters how ever I would have to give a guy the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. If you have such a big problem with fasttrack call Stan, reveal who you are. I highly doubt you have the kahunas. I don't know Stan Lester nor do I have any involvement in any kind of crate latemodel It just irritates me when some loser like yourself gets on here and rips on something just because they don't agree with it. You don't have your facts straight and you assume a lot of things that you know nothing about. Alot like your politics. Get a life, worry more about yourself than others and we'll all be better off.

You should have encluded the next paragraph of the invition,

Stan has stated that his offer was to include only other crate latemodel series, yet in the last paragraph of the invition he states:

If your series runs different types of engines, just understand that at the Championships its crate engines only.

I ask if you are talking only to other crate latemodel series why would you feel the need to make sure they know they can't run anything but a crate motor at your championship. Don't all crate latemodel racing series run crate motors.

common sense would indicate that they would, so who do you think he was inviting, (especially since he states all weekly racers and other racing series) do you think it might be racers from a series that runs something other than crate motors. what do you think about UMP, WoO,

As for calling Stan , thats the problem now, it appears that he perfers to offer assurances privately on an indivisual basis ( no witnesses) I perfer it be made publicly for all to see and in writting.

You won't find anyone more supportive than I am for the crate racing concept, but I am very carefull who i get in bed with.

Taking that question out of context with rest of the discussion your now tring to make me look like an idiot. (which in my case doesn't take much).

Considering it was a rhotorical question to make some else look bad. I think you just don't like it being turned around. Maybe next time you'll think about whether what you have to say is really relevent or is there to make someone else look bad.

Have a nice day!!!!

Outsider's View

Have not seen a contract but here goes anyway.

The press release by the Fastrak CEO follows a pattern since the organizations inception. You do not contact tracks on a public forum.
These type's of posts are fact finding or "feelers: if you will. Intended to do exactly what is happening on this thread.

Pro's and con's of the release. With C.A.R.S and Stormpay making inroads into the track sanctions it now becomes harder to get a track to sanction with GY tires and Crate motors.

But if you can get a track to sanction a class then you have the "perverbial foot in the door"with the lure of $50,000 dollar race.If you can't get in the front door you go to the back door.

Is this a plus or minus for the midwest region?
Will the non crate motor class be elgible for regional and state points? Should have checked his web site but didn't.

Anyone on here that is a racer and has a concern with this. The only people that that you should concern you self with are the promoters. You HAVE to voice your opinions or concerns with them. Phone calls , e-mails are simply more of the same.
Your promoter is the one you have to deal with on a daily basis, he has the facts and signs the contract and has to deal with you on a daily basis.
Your answers are local not on a forum or in Georgia.
True to form there should be a clarification coming soon.

I could go on but this getting to long now.

Thanks for your input, that does make sense. and if not entirely true as to his motive, it at least provides him an out and an oppertunity to not tear the origanizion apart.

 what i originally said is what was thrown out of context, i asked if the gm crate motor was a 602 or 604 after racefan2 stated that the series should contain GM crate motors 602 or 604, in which i responded: DuH,, arent all gm crate motors 602 or 604. not trying to change subject, but to educate myself as to the size or whatever of the crate motors
