i agree

i agree with i refin. any time you put money up for idiots in a rwyb class they show up, run over people, tear up all you stuff , and never show up and support the track again. i agree all the outlaws that have run under the rules for the last 7 years stay home. it looks like mother nature and the racing gods are in favor of track rules. chance of rain friday the 24th and saturday the 24th.

Larry, stay home on both Friday and Saturday the 24ths but, please tell your son Kurt, whom is a great kid and that never whines or complains to please show up..he can do it with whatever engine he runs! And you should know better to predict the weather in the midwest 2 weeks away is like trying to predict the weather in the midwest 2 weeks away! Anyway, the Fat Lady has sung on this subject..and is ready for another chicken salad sammich!!!!

hey ron

won't see me or kurt there, if they run the rules that we all ran for the last seven years still wont show. they are calling for 6" of snow. tired of this wishe warshe rules b.s. i can remember the last time junkyard did this a lot of people had to order a lot of parts. if you can't run with the big dogs that play by the rules stay home on the porch.

so be that way!!!

ps..i will build you a ohv engine for around $1500 that will be competetive against anything uas/open if you need it! pm me if 'ya have too;)

ron

i already have 3 tecumseh that will out run them, plus i have one hell of a wheel man that can find 10 more horse power just with his driving skills.

sorry guys about stirring up everyone, outlaws have been the largest class frank said and thought it would e cool to add a little money your guys way. i will talk to frank on rules and see if i can have Toby post the decision, i will be honest i dont have a clue about the outlaws.

THEN WTF IS THE PROBLEM????

Why start all the b.s. and make a mountian out of a molehill?????

just show up OR not!!!!!!

John,
Thanks and please post you findings asap!

its real simple

dude we have built motors by the rule that where posted for the last 7 years , so why do 3 people that build motors outside the rules think they are allowed to walk in to a race track and run what they want. its called rules every race track has them, if you want to change them do it in the off season. 1 or 2 guys running outside the rules has run off 6 or 7 guys in the last year. and it dont mater to me i have all my stuff for sale, plans for next year is micro racing, going to build a 1200cc motor to run in a 600cc class, hope they will change the rules for me next year.

Larry,
i'm really not trying to bust your balls but, there must be a reason why the track owner wants to open the class up? I came there last year several times and there were only 5-6 karts tops! Anyway, my engine now has a 10hp shroud and the ohv hondas are now sold as 10hp ..why are we illegal and your not if YOU have the same rating and hp? come on..race!

the rule states 10hp block the clones are a 12hp block and the hondas are a 12hp block. the rules again where layed down 7 years ago.i am not sure what your motor is, so as of this post i am done with this. call frank and work this out with him. as they say over and out. have fun on the 24th with your snow mobile. chance of snow 20%

call frank and work this out with him.

well i'll be a mu*h*******er! I told you from the begining of the RWYB discussion Frank has no problem with us strapping on a 747 jet engine and racing, you were the one b*tching all the time about it and now your giving up like that?? give me a break..............

-Ron.

ps..it's *mushroomeater

20 racer you really dont know much about the ohvs the 305 i believe is a 10hp block.the clone ohvs are 13hp lets all go have fun and race.if you have a good driver and a kart that is set up right you should be up front.ive seen your son leading one night spin go to the back and win.i believe he out ran two 390s that night.

Full details will be posted tonight or tomorrow morning. I do know it will be RWYB single cylinder one engine open tire rule and not sure on weight yet Toby will be post all particulars later As of right now will be $200 to win guarenteed maybe more, If there is anyone that would like to add to the purse call Frank or myself.

That's the truth with the exception of the 390's do have a 10hp version! I really think Larry is just mad because he ain't at the lake to take out all of his frustrations! damn it boy!!!!!!!

H. Fuel. There are no fuel restrictions except that no illegal substance or substances may be used as fuel or as a fuel additive.

3. Calculating Displacement / Declaring Weight

A. The bore will be measured with dial calipers and the stroke with a suitable travel dial indicator.

B. The following formula will be used for calculating displacement;

BORE X BORE X STROKE X .7854 X 16.39 = CC of engine.
(This assumes that the bore and stroke were measured in inches. The 16.39 is a conversion factor from cubic inches to cubic centimeters.)

C. Always round up to the nearest whole cc when calculating minimum weight.

D. Competitors must declare their weight and display it next to their front number in such a manner that the scale person can easily see it.

Now i'm not going for that! You star guys will have a huge power to weight advantage..this is BS! lol......

Thanks Toby for posting! Will you be racing in uas outlaws?

-Ron

It all depends on my motor builder....hopefully he'll have it finished and back to me in time. If not, I'll be running in the clone class.

I just finished talking to Frank about this thread. Needless to say he's a bit aggravated and disappointed by some of the posts. I don't blame him in the least for his feelings on the matter.

The race on the 24th will have two open classes.....
1. Standard Bedrock rules 10 hp 4 stroke block or 150 cc 2 stroke, minimum weight 375.
2. RWYB, see posted rules on this thread and at www.bedrockraceway.com

Frank will pay $200 to the outlaw winner with 10 or more entries. He will not allow any kart to run both classes.

The class is split for this race. New outlaw rules will be posted for next years racing season.

What would frank be upset about or aggravated about? The bedrock regulars are just stating facts!
