Outlaw race a JOKE!

Well said IPrint. Some people just don't get it. I have been to races at both tracks and to say that one track is better than the other is just plain dumb. One night Pevely will have a better turn out, then maybe the next time Granite City will have a better turn out. I went to the WoO late model race at Granite City and also went to the Pepsi Nationals at Pevely, and quite honestly I thought the race at Granite City was by far the better of the two. But in return I thought the WoO sprint cars where much better at Pevely this year. It all equals out in the end. As far as the prices go, we don't work for free and they don't either.

What exactly is a typical fan????????? So I`m not a typical fan cause I travel thru out the states to watch sprint car racin. I have never been to a Blues/ Rams/ game in my life. Baseball once and just couldn`t get into it. No I`m not accustomed to paying high prices I too thought the food was high price compare to a .75 pepsi at Eldora. I have been going to sprint car racin for 44 years and I have witness some of greatest drivers of all time race side by side. I would never knock down another race fan like you did me. I support all racin and support my local hometown tracks too.

You're not the fan I'm knocking, and quite honestly I think you know that. I'm talking about the person who buys hook, line, and sinker into the whole celebrity culture, whether it be racing, or whatever other segment of society.
We all know them--they're the people that TiVo Entertainment Tonight or Inside the Actors Studio, lol. They'd go to the WoO shows if the ONLY cars there were the so-called mean 15. But they would never go to a big show at Jacksonville or Farmington because Steve Kinser or Sammy Swindell aren't there.

Having said that, anyone more interested in seeing the local farmers run at I-55 over the greatest show on dirt(WoO) musta got a free pass into the track.

Excuse me? Local farmers? What kinda smartass crack is that? I think what people are complaining about is spending a ton of money, and getting a train race. Hey, I have nothing against the WoO, but I find it hard to believe people think its spectacular to watch the same guy win his Millionth championship in a row. Where is the competition in WoO when Kinser wins the title every year? Yawn. And people think F1 is too dominated by one team?

As far as the racing, a train is a train, whether its the hispeed bullet train, or the metrolink. Its still a train. And from a racing fans point of view, that is boring to watch. Nothing against the WoO, but if that is all they offer, then I wont be shelling out my $32 to see it.

Besides, I had to go plow Pevely...:D :D

very good point t.nie. i get what your sayin about the outlaws, it is the same old thing every year. steve kinser and danny lasoski at the top of the point standings and then the king walks away with the championship at the end of the season. it does get old. i am in no way knocking the outlaws cause god knows a love watching them but it does get kinda old seein the same thing every season.

hey by the way the cardinals are on tonight as they start game 1 on the NLCS against houston everyone should tune in and root on the cards!! hey now a NLCS or worls series caridnal game is worth $32.00!!!! lol! ;)

Oh well, I'll take a GREAT RACE with a bunch of FARMERS at 80 mph, rather than an OVER PRICED high speed hot lap session amongst the beautiful people!!!!!!
