Payout for Modifieds Raised???

THANKS FOR THE ALL CAPS. look jj...i dont have to go back and read your history to know what kind of reputation you have among people at the track...track personnel and drivers included. maybe you say a nice thing every now and again...but for the most part if there is any drama stirred up on this site...you are right in the thick of it. you might not be a bad guy at all...im not trying to judge you, but i personally would like to see less negative BS on this site and more posts that actually have something to say that isnt a bunch of high school like drama and i know most of the people that come here agree. sometimes things need to be said...and im no one to judge whats right and wrong to post, but i think sometimes you try saying something noble on behalf of drivers or fans and you come of looking very foolish with the things you say. i dont think you realize how many people involved with the track read this...

bigrightrear...im not saying people shouldnt share their opinion...but you dont have to be a genious to know that the guy who posted that was just trying to stir **** up. look at his other post. im all for discussion about all things...but im not going to dignify some punk coming on and hiding behind a nickname and stirring up a bunch of stupid crap.

Ya know, jj, you have every right to post whatever you want to on this site. I agree that this site can cause a lot of "conflict" but EVERYONE has a right to his/her own opinion and they have the RIGHT to express it in whatever manner they wish. There are tons of people who get on here and really get down and dirty and say some mean things, so why is it that the only person who is getting ripped on is j.j.???????? Is he/she the only one not entitled to speak his/her mind? You don't even know who he/she is..........how do you know that he/she has a bad reputation among track personnel and drivers??? For all you know, jj could be a driver or track personnel. JJ could be a very well liked individual among the racing community. I agree that this site should try to focus more on the positive side of racing...we tend to get away from ALL the positive things and focus on the FEW negative things. Try not to read too much into every single post. From what I gather, jj is a regular to SFCR and enjoys the racing and the track, but would like to see the racers treated a little better...simple as that.

i thank you for having my back on this. but don't you agree that all "zacrates39" has to do is not read my posts? there's a simple solution to the problem you have with me(although i have done nothing wrong) and the solution is once again, don't read my post. :>:>:>:>

im just defending something that important to me...i love the raceway. not at all saying there are never problems or negative things to talk about. NOR am i saying that people shouldne be entitled to their own opinions. regardless of the issue i think that there is way too much damn drama on the site. i think that we represent the average fan and see no reason why we cant be prideful and say positive things about the place we all care so much about. my point with JJ is that hes in the middle of EVERY controversy! thats just silly...im def not the only one whos tired of the BS. the same as hes entitled to his opinion...im entitled to mine...and i have no control over what ANYONE says or does but myself...but if i think someones being an ***...i dont care to say it.

faithfulfan...do you think my post is any more than my opinion? even if i used other peoples opinion as an example...its still just opinion. no one said he couldnt say what he wants...im not the moderator. i dont decide who stays or goes...and if i did im not even saying id boot the guy. just letting him know what i think of his negative BS. so thank you for backing me as well.

Zac, you're right. He may have been trying to start ***t. He seems to have ill feelings for the race track. But what gives you the right to act like the moderator. Trust me if there is something bad that Jeff doesn't like, he will take it off the board. Does it to me all the time. Just let it go

I got your back on this one zacrates39 its getting old. Just liked we talked about Saturday after the races this he/she is always talking crap, that post he wrote a couple post up from this one was the first i have ever heard from him that was halfway positve. See ya Saturday.

thanks mullh8ter...i think people dont understand im not trying to make a decision for everyone...just sharing my opinion and that of a few others who ive happened to talk about it with. as far as the commenst from bigrightnut...i really have no need to respond...jeff takes what you say off of the board becuase you are very much like JJ in that you like to make ignorant statements and stir things up. jeff seems to be more your target than the raceway, though...so the reason i dont think people mind you is that jeff takes care of himself just fine. now the raceway is voicless except for the fans and drivers, so i feel the need to defend it...thats my right as it is both of yours to be morons and come on here talking a bunch of ****. try signing your messages with your real names...wont happen...

one thing that i have to say...is if you have never driven a went out there on a Sat. night, and put everything you have into a 15 or 20 lap feature. or if you havent put countless hours of work and money into your car just to go out there and do something you love, and put on a show for the fans...than shut the HELL up with the knocking on a class of cars!!!! dont knock anybody on how what class they race. there is no difference between the sprintcar driver, and sportsmen driver or any other in my eyes...they might drive to different racecars, but they both do the same thing on Sat nite and thats put on a show for everyone. so dont knock them, that is like a slap in the face when you say something like..."be lucky that dont get rid of your class". five dollars isnt alot but when you pay $25 to get in....$20 for fuel...$2 to dollars for a freaking soda! you start to notice when money isnt coming back that use to be there! so let the nonsence end....and if anyone else wants to knock the multis or hobby's or mods...you better be Billy Smith...Randy Forester or Casey Barnhouse, or else i'm not listening to your opinion about these classes.

ziegler15x

easy there eric don't get your painties in a bunch we all know how much work is in racing we work on them all week long and then when you get to the track your fuel pump goes out and then you work on it all weekend too, just playing eric these people that run there mouths on here don't even know how much work it is.

Yep ..........

I tend to agree with you all. I have the privilage of being good friends with several of the drivers from all the classes and each and every one of them work their butts off to get their cars sponsers, put together, loaded and to the track in order to get the pleasure to race it on that wonderful dirt track. My point is PLEASE..... do NOT get on here and mouth unless you know what or who you are talking about. It is about RESPECT and LOYALTY to these men that pay their dues in order to race. HATS OFF TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM....... LeaDonna :)

Ya ..........

I think your nuts if people only come out to watch the multis.I used to go out there every weekend for over the last 20 or so years but sense montgomerys started to runen that place it's gone down hill ,sure they've made the place look nice BUT you don't see all the good drivers there every week like you used to and if your BOYS are so good how come they can't win or finnish the short track nats or if timmy is so good how come he can't make it in to the knoxville nat when a 22 y/o FEMALE can.MY opion get rid of the mods and mnltis and sportsmen and have 360's sprints pay out 5 to 410 and 3 to 360 and you people would see some REAL racing .

Let's get your facts a little straighter before you mouth Tim Montgomery. Since you stated about Short Track Nationals we'll start there.

He's won the dash at the Short Track Nationals twice in the last three years. (2001 and 2003). In 2000 he finished 5th from the last row of the A-main. In 2001 he ran forth in the A-main with a fuel pump problem in the car he was driving. It paid $3500 for 4th. Last year he finished 8th and just missed the setup plain and simple. He's one of America's best local track drivers that can leave the backyard and be competitive most anywhere he goes. His racing career stats speak for themselves he doesn't need to prove anything. Are yours better than his?

As for Knoxville...... have you any idea the price of a sprint engine to qualify in the 16 second bracket at Knoxville? NOONE at Farmington has an engine that'll turn a 16 second lap at Knoxville. Your talking $38,700 for a Gaerte, Wesmar, Kistler, Shaver, etc. (and that's not a nice one like the top outlaw guys are using, the ones they use are pushing $45,000 right now) engine to do the trick. Knoxville is 75% car and 25% driver.

As for the so-called "good driver's" you refer to not racing at Farmington anymore, none have went on to bigger or better things. Most have just gotten old or ran out of money which is very easy to do in this sport.

i'm done with this stupid ****, since you all especially "zacrates39" don't like any of my posts and think i'm always trying to stir up ****. I'm done posting on this site for good. seems everyone has a problem with what i say, and truthfully if that is the case then simply don't read my posts but that doesn't matter now. i'm done posting on here. so congrats "zacrates39" you can finnaly quit your lil whinebag fits. you sissy

LOL @ JJ

opnwhlmnd...i think there are a handful of guys who have $35,000+ in their motor at SFCR. i havent seen reciepts, but ive heard of a few that did. now i know timmy runs on a 4 year old frame and doesnt mind reusing older things...which just makes him more amazing. i do agree that knoxville is a lot of car...and i think SFCR is the exact opposite. you often see fast guys come in and not be able to figure this track out. i think we have a handful of guys who could run well anywhere with just about anyone...and i think we have a handful of young guys well on their way to doing the same.

nahh..I decided i don't really care if "zacrates39" or should I say Zac doesn't like my posts or thinks im mouthing. the only mouthing i'll havta do is at you zac. or until you learn that i'm only posting my opinion and ask yourself why does j.j.slideways!!'s opinion matter so much to me. that's what you need to ask yourself. youre the only one that has began mouthing me cause of all this oh and that mull h*ter or whatever. so like i have said along with about 20 other people. if you don't like ones post then don't read it or reply to it. it's that simple.:)

Well heck, now I'm confused. Is that a statement or an opinion? Because it looks like a statement, but you said that you only post your opinion.

I think this should be mandatory:

A poster should be required to at least have and maintain an elementary level of education before posting.
