OMG I am in complete shock and have nothing to say except thoughts and prayers to the families of both Billy and Tony!

I don't know what to say. In total shock about this. Billy was track photographer at Quincy this year and was a huge booster and help for us at the track. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Danielle and the whole family.

Two Missouri men were killed Tuesday when a semi-truck struck a car from behind on the highway.

Authorities said the Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Robert Lindsey, 50, O’Fallon, Mo., was going slower than the posted speed limit down Highway 63 in Wapello County when it was hit from behind by a semi-truck driven by Steven W. Searls, 58, Auburndale, Fla.

The accident happened around 1:15 a.m., crash reports show.

Tony R. Penberthy, 47, St. Louis, Mo., and Charles W. Haffer Jr., 44, St. Peters Mo., were killed, authorities said. Lindsey was injured in the crash.

Authorities are looking into mechanical issues and the accident remains under investigation.

The third person was someone named Sonny. I'm not sure who he is. I believe he was from Quincy area. It was Sonny's car and he was driving... Sonny is the one in critical condition.

Our deepest sympathies go out to everyone involved in this horrific accident, especially to the families of those who lost their lives. While we didn't know Tony, we did have the privilege of knowing Photo Billy and can honestly say that he was one of the nicest people we've ever met. You can't help but be drawn to people who are genuinely happy and always smiling like Photo Billy was. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we were blessed to have him as a part of our racing community. Rest in peace, Photo Billy. You will be greatly missed.

Thought and prayers goes out to the family of Billy and Tony. Tony sat by me @ Belle-Clair every week I might not of agree with everything he said but he was a life long dirt fan. Wont be the same with out him yelling!

Sonny was Tony's best friend.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to all the families involved. Billy was indeed one of the nicest people i had ever met. His love for racing was more than anyone i have ever known. What a tough year this has been. Thoughts and prayers once again to all the families involved in this tragic accident.
