photobilly was a true friend, racefan, and great photographer. always enjoyed shooting pictures with the st. louis crew at the various tracks we would see each other at. we always invited me to bellclair and highland, but with me covering fairbury, my schedule was usually filled. well billy, i will be at bellclair for you on aug. 24 and hope to make highland next month. my thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the accident. prayers to billy's daughter, the haffer family, and the st. louis racing scene. you will be missed.
I'm just stunned. My thoughts and prayers go out to both families. Billy was an outstanding fellow and Tony taught me so much about running a smooth night of racing. I'm sorry, I can't even think straight enough right now to write what I want to - this has been a hell of a year for our community. Rest in Peace you two and give Millsey a big hug from me.
Thoughts & Prayers go out to all the families involved... Rest In Peace Billy, you were truly a great guy & a huge part of the racing community. You made each night at the races a better night with that huge smile and unforgettable laugh. Heaven gained another angel.
RIP Billy. Thanks for always taking the time to take pictures and talking to all of us drivers. You made us all feel so welcomed and appreciated for doing what we do. None can ever replace you my friend.

You couldnt find a nicer guy in the pits than Billy.... this is horrible. He always had a smile and a wave for me when i saw him at the track. RIP little buddy!
Those of us that knew Tony knew he had a huge heart for Dirt Tracks and Racing.... I had the EXCELLENT opportunity to work with him when we re-opened Fredericktown Raceway a few years ago, he had a passion that was incredible when it came to a track. I am glad I was able to cross paths, learn and call this man a friend. His passion will be missed. If we ever had the opportunity to run a track he was one of my first 2 choices for people to be there.
Thoughts and prayers to all the family and friends I have been so lucky to have know Billy for many years from School and on into adulthood He has never changed such a gentle and kind soul .
You will be missed so glad I got to see you last saturday at the track rest in peace GOD BLESS .
