possible new race track in stl area!!!!!!

ok...so......there is another person researching the possibility of opening bond co. raceway.......and that person is receiving information that is conflicting with the info that i am receiving.....we are going to talk hopefully and try to find out one solid answer for everyone then go from there....stay tuned....
 
I should be able get a water truck,grader,and probly anything else that is needed to get the track preped,,,,,,
 
water truck is there......would have to bring in a crap ton of fresh dirt......build a scoring tower ( since they tore down the old one.....replace a light pole that fell......and after talking to the othe person they are only going to alow 6 nights of racing and it cannot be two weekends in a row......unless dor some reason the can be talked into another aggreement
 
Maybe mandate steel head motor with 2 bbl or the 602 crate engine with a 4 bbl,,,,,3 link rear suspension,,no bird cages
 
There is an announcing booth in the grandstands that could possibly be used for scoring. The tower they had was torn down because it became unsafe to use
 
Make sure you get the "Crap Ton" from the right dirt pile......OK? Midgets and Micros on the dirt and the QTR Midgets on the short track the same weekend,correct! :)
 
I just havent figured out why anybody would want to open this track back up? It isnt going to be worth all the trouble your going to endure for 6 nights of racing. This town is full of grumpy old people who are going to fight you tooth and nail just as they did last time. Your biggest problem will be from the old lady who lives by the township shed ms. atchison. She always complains about noise but yet its ok for her son to go in her basement with friends and play their band all day and yet she dont complain avout that. Im just saying its going to be a tuff hard fought battle. I lived there the first 31 years of my life and everything I done there or wanted to do was a battle! Why do you think I dont live there anymore
 
The people that you had to fight on the city council arent there anymore with younger councilmen and the college has given up with its so called control on this town otherwise there would not be alcohol sold in town. If the right person went to the fairboard and to the city council im sure you could get more nights
 
Tri City years ago from what i heard...............got their gumbo dirt from outside of south roxana. I know its gumbo dirt....lived and dug dirt there for years.
 
So what ever happened to all the hopes on this? This is one money hungry county and if you can make them money they will go for it. I guess maybe you found out you fighting a lossing battle...
 
there is another person trying to do the same thing.....After talking to him I am going to sit back and wait....and help if I can....
