Presidential Race - Are We United?

Early on in this thread I asked if any of you Obama supporters could site a single Obama accomplishment that should qualify him to lead our country and be Commander in Chief of our armed forces. Back then, you had nothing... Have you come up with anything yet, or do you still just like him because he's not Bush and he gives a great speech?
 
All you talk about is his supposed lack of experience but maybe that is his best feature. He hasn't been there long enough to become completely corrupted unlike his Republican opponent's. Maybe if they buy Palin another few hundred thousand dollars worth of clothes it will make here seem to have more experience also. I don't know if Obama will do a good job or not but I do not want to see 4 more years of the same ol same ol. If there was a choice of none of the above that would be my choice. But my opinion is Obama will be the lesser of the two evils.

I'm confused, if Obamas best feature is his lack of experience. Wouldn't that make Palin a good choice? Using this same criteria isn't Biden a terrible choice?

Sorry for using a wrong analogy I was trying to make a point and it didn't come out the way I intended it. "Fell on deaf Ears" What do you mean by that, because I didn't respond instantly. We will see in 4 years if Obama was the correct choice or not. We know that Bush wasn't. I am done with this post.

I will apologize ahead of time in case my reply doesnt' make sense....I fell outta my chair laughing...

Looks like someone finally told him later in his first year that he'd better start writing up some bills that actually helped the American people, so then those bills could all be sent on to one of quadrillion committees set up by our wonderful government that pretty much do nothing but say "Whohoo!! Lookie boys and girls! The senate handed us another bill to read!" This just shows how ridiculous our current government system is! Almost every single bill goes on to another committee to be reread!!! Would someone please tell me what it is our friggin' senators ARE doing??? And the libs want MORE government! Come on!!! It's ridiculous! That alone is enough to make me NOT vote Democrat...EVER! How much are these "committe members" making a year for serving on said committees?? And as for Obama's name being linked to this bills...a little more research please, t.nie....how many did he actually write...or was he just there to say "oh sure...I'll add my name to that". And while the bills that were directed at honoring people, ideas, etc, are also important and should be done...where are the bills that show true experience in fighting for what is right and then getting it done. #65....read the WHOLE bill! Where exactly does it say WHAT they are planning to do to help with global warming? It links it to poverty and that's what most of the bill pertains to! And I'm sure there is more, but that is obviously going to take a lot of time to sort through!
