Pure Street Feature

Your right..They are only human and can’t see everything because they try to watch it all.. You have your right to your opinion, but again most of them don’t know who has what points and cant take that in consideration when making decisions on the track, that would be favoritism and they get accused of that enough already. I do understand that sometimes lap cars cause issues with other cars but they pay to race and have to start somewhere...

I understand that lap cars pay to race and have to start somewhere - my point was that their mistakes should not be cause for a black flag for someone that is trying to pass them. The flagman should be waving the lap flag and they should be getting out of the way of those that are trying to race. If the corner man doesn't know who is racing for points (which I seriously doubt) he should at least know who is being lapped and take that into account.

The lap traffic flag is a flag that causes more problems than it does good. Most drivers have already seen where the lap car is running and have their plan on where to pass him. All the lapped traffic flag does is cause the lapped car to change his line. As far as having a lap car move out of the way, which direction is out of the way.Not everyone starts out as a front runner,YES I was a lapped car early in my career and was always told to hold my line for the leaders will find the groove that I am not in and pass. I DON'T agree with the leader blasting a lapped car because he was in his line.As the rules state noone is allowed to have two-way radios or rear view mirrors, so how does a lapped car know how or wich way is out of the way? Please, if you are a lapped car just hold your line !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I personnally enjoy the lapped traffic, it makes for alittle more of a challenge.

so we can agree on one thing dirt racing is a contact sport, but to much contact results i a black flag wich is controled by the flagmen. i say that the flag men have a hard time as it is making calls with all the cars being out there so just everyone shut up get over it and move on to tomorrow and put the bull **** aside and have fun because 2 more races and were done for the year so injoy it guys:cool:

Hey josh22, what's up with the attitude?! I agree that the flagmen have a tough job to do, but where do you get off telling everyone to "shut up and get over it?" We all know that the end of the season is here...you don't have to remind us. Do you realize that this is a very quick way to loose the respect of fans, as well as the respect of other drivers? Some of these people that you are telling to "shut up" could be the very people that are out there on the track with you. If a driver wants respect, he or she must earn it...it doesn't come free. And I must say, there are very few drivers that aren't respectful at this track. Most of the drivers love and respect their fans. They show it by the show that they put on weekly. Personally, I would rather watch a driver that is out there for the love of the sport and not for how the sport makes him look! Get the picture???

The thing that I want to know is where was the BLACK FLAG last night?????? That was crazy to let the guy who turned the 67 into the wall keep racing. This in turn took out 2 cars, totaling out 1 of them and lots of damage to the other. I agree with Chevy that you should be out there for the love of the sport not how it makes you look. But I also agree with SFC Race Fan, that the track does have their favorites. There were guys in the first heat race that had no control over their cars or just dont know how to drive ( Josh 22 ). Once points racing is over I think that there will be several cars that leave Farmington to go to other tracks. As a matter of fact, I know of a few that will not return next year due to the bull that went on this year. I watched Chris Webb race and he touched no one, that is more than I can say about some of the other regulars.

Hey Big Guys, are you OKAY????? Cars can be replaced (yes, I know it's not so easy sometimes) but people can't!

It Was Only My 2nd Time @sfc This Year And To Tell The Truth That Pure Street Feature From The 3rd Car Back Looked Like A Dang Demo Derby.

Just another night in the Pure Street class at SFCR! No black flags, balls to the wall, and tear up yours and everyone else's stuff!

What I want to know is what does someone other than Mark Todd or Chris Webb have to do to get the black flag thrown at them???????? Mark or Chris just taps someone and the black flag is out before they even touch them. The 7 turns the 67 into the wall which takes out the 12. Where was the black flag on that one??????? The worse part about the whole thing is it happened in front of the flag stand.

well all i have to say is good luck to everyone on the last night of racing for the purestreets this year at stfc :) :) :) :)

Rick's working on it today. The guy sent him the wrong parts while we were gone, so he wasn't able to put it back together for last Saturday. Went up to Pevely instead to see some LATE MODELS and some good friends.
