RAMS Awards Banquet on Nov. 6th

i was talking on here about having the next meeting, the week after our awards banquet the 13th or 14th.

Did you take into consideration the fact that the above
weekend is the start of DEER SEASON....I'm bettin' we have
more than just a couple of deer hunters in our membership.
Millsey's right, the December meeting should take place in
DECEMBER!
 
Wolf, we need to wait until December for the meeting exactly because of what Bob described - DEER SEASON!!! It's almost impossible to hold any kind of meeting or banquet during deer season. Remember that's why we had the awards banquet on Nov. 6th to avoid a confict.

Let's just enjoy the awards banquet and each other's company. That will serve as a good springboard towards the election and a fresh start.

EXCELLENT idea Jeff, now if everyone else agrees,
lets turn this into a "positive thread".

A positive thread, Bob???? Now that's an idea. Moving the elections back to the December meeting is an excellent idea, Jeff....even though I have already made plans to attend the RAMS awards banquet. It is open to RAMS members, right?

if memeory serves me right.... it open to anybody (like the meetings) the first RAMS banquet I went to I was NOT a member I wanted to go meet these guys and get to know a little about this class I rember talking to some guy named shannon birch,Millsey and kevin and keith buckly.oh and some other guy named Marty... so I joined up and been with these guys since that night through the good and bad... so let's all go to this banquet and have some fun cuase we will be losing some of the great people I have came to know of the organzation... some are moving up a class some are just getting out of it all together...
 
You and anyone you would like to bring are always welcome to attend. We want to make this a great time for all of us and get rid of this negative stuff. It's going to be a good time for everyone involved.

DEAR Season...

There should be such a season...........after DEER season is over, men should really consider a DEAR season....for the WONDERFUL woman in their life. OUCH.........OH, I must have been dreaming, someone just pinched me.:D :D

Banquet sounds like alot of fun!! I'll be there. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the RAMS members who don't know me yet. Will this be in the lower part of Club 67 or upstairs???? Will there be drinking and dancing or just dinner and awards???? Just curious.
 
It will be downstairs in the banquet room. There's a band and other stuff going on upstairs following the banquet. You can get drinks and whatever from the bar downstairs during the banquet..
