Rams Points Updated!! And....

i haven't slept in the last two weeks,don't eat much,and my wife won't make woopie with me cause all i can thank about is what i have to do.i have started smoking,i'm drinking like a fish, and i can't fart like i used to.i will be so glad when the points are over and i can get back to a normal life with my family :D the only reason i am even in the points lead is because of my family and friends who have really supported me this year.i am ready for this week to end then it is time to hand the car over to a few others to drive,i'm needing some off time :p who will it be?????????????????????
 
Well Shannon if you drove a Chevy you wouldn't be having these problems right now...LOL See I can laugh at my self too.

first of all, we (brian and myself) didnt ask for anyones help, we simply stated a question. second, we are not asking for anyone to "review" anything.... if it was a mistake then it is what it is, just that.... and we will take it as that.... I just knew what i seen from the stands that the race didnt finish the way it was stated. I hardly think the diffrence in the payout is going to make or break us, I could care less about the stupid money, its just the point thats all. Im sure if you knew that you beat someone you wouldnt have said anything either huh??? I doubt that, seems to me you like to run your mouth pretty much....I think its pretty bad that I couldnt put a little comment on here and you have to blow it up with saying that we need to vote on this and take it to the board and the president and get mcs involved, none of this crap was ever even mentioned, I just wanted to know for my own sake thats all. Bob only had good intensions in mind, and it was never asked of him either about the "tape"... so just go about your own business and stay out of mine... ok.. thanks...

Sounds like you're the one that needs to calm down little ducky.... I said I don't care what you do..I just was looking at the big picture and down the road. I never brought up money either.... Go back to the pond and cool off a bit. Bob and I talk all the time and I wasn't saying don't change it. I was just saying changing Track Official Results is not a common practice that I know of and we should be careful when doing it. It had nothing to do with your question. Relax...take a breath and relax....


I don't care about your business...but i do about the RAMS business.
And the whole vote thing was a JOKE! And Where did I say to get MCS involved??? you're killing me.
 
Now let me start all over and try to say what I meant orginally on this post....

I was trying to think from the RAMS as an Association and from the track..
So lets see if I explain it better this time.... I don't care about money whether you get it or not.

Ok there's an error...

We as an Association change the results ourselves.

OK then it happens again...well we did it once so we have to review and change the track's offical results again.

Will the tracks appreciate us doing this or does it even matter.

I was just saying we may want to think about it because I wouldn't want the tracks to look down on the RAMS for actions like that. That's all I meant..They may not care what we do and if so then great do it.

Does that make any more sense.

Lil Ducky...if you knew me you'd know I was just making light of it at the same time of saying just think before we just do this and it has nothing to do with me or you but about the Association.
 
it is what it is, no big deal, bob is trying to help which is good, but i don't think its going to change any positions where we are . its nice to know that we finished where we thought and bob verified that. thats all that matters to us. lets just have a good time this weekend and if mcs makes another mistake then we may need to address it. hell i'm still trying to put my car back together for sat. so after thinking about for a few days, i think we should leave well enough alone. wheelman brings up some good points and maybe should be brought up at some future meeting in case this would happen again in a much closer point situation. see you sat.
 
Any comment posted on a public forum is always open to scrutiny. that said I respond.....Any Association or sanctioning body is an official business and must always act in a PROFFESSIONAL way. Also all members of that Association, officials,drivers,and other members, must also act accordingly. If there is an issue about scoring it must be brought up on the night in question to the association and track promoter, not several days later. For an association to pay places or award points different from the official results loses the respect and credibility of tracks and promoters. It`s hard enuogh for an association to stay afloat these days without shooting itself in the foot.........If this offends anyone I appologize, but I thought it needed to be said.........
 
Mr Wheelman- its obvious that you dont know me very well either. I in no way meant to cause such a tizzie over just a question....it is what it is.... just leave it at that.... I will know better next time before commenting or asking a question on here....I in no wayhave asked nor will ask for anyone to analyze the results of the race..... I know who finished where, thats all that matters to me...I understand what you are trying to say regarding future races and I realize you have the Rams best intrest at heart, just know that I do too....It just made me a little bit mad that you thought I or we were going to go to such great lengths to change things, thats not so at all...I just cant believe you cant ask a question on this sight without people getting all crazy and using the sarcasm all the time, its really bad......I also agree with the part about being professional, but have you seen some of the posts from the past couple of weeks???? Some of the professionalism that has been used leaves alot to be desired....Well i look forward to maybe meeting you in person this weekend at the track, look me up...kelly lagarce 29K

One of the problems is we dont know the official results until they are posted on here, which most of the time is a couple days later. We need to be able to know the results at the track. The bad thing is everyone's racing for points and every point counts.

Very true! I have always thought that it hurt you guys by not getting paid at the track, for this very reason. If you get paid that night, you KNOW where you finished. Unfortunately, the only way for you guys to know would be for ya all to wait for Trashdog to get the official results sheet, and I'm not sure how many people want to wait around for that (because it's after the races are over and when he gets up there to it). Of course everyone is racing for points and I understand wanting to know that night. What could be done about it? Does anyone have any other suggestions/ideas?

Because of our unique payout situation Ill see if they can post the results on the pit board for review when they head to the office. That way if there is a problem we can see scorers, Debbie, Mell or Trashdog that night.
