re: mt vernon

:( I want to say first off to the families and the injured people that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and May God be with You all At this time of need. I want to say this to all who was there and witness it and also helped out the injured that you all are also in my thoughts and prayers cause I was in your spot on June 11 when My Good Friend and a wonderful driver lost his life right in front of my eyes and I tried to help save him Brent Slocum was a wonderful man and I am sure the 2 we just lost at Mt Vernon we also wonderful too and it breaks my heart cause I know it is going to be a long rough road ahead of all these people who lost there loved ones and who saw and who helped. I had to end up going to grief councling classes and I am still in them today and it helps out alot with what they are going to go through and when the angrey stage hits please try to let it go . This is something that we as humans have no control over when God Decides to take his favorite people to be with him. Also please do not blame yourself that if you could of done this or that cause it will drive you nuts. If anyone who was there and saw or helped out in anyway feel free to contact me and I will talk with you cause I have been there and still going through it too. May God Bless You All and keep you safe and Comfort you all who was involved. thanks Terra

Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone effected by this tragic event. I couldn't imagine what all those people are going through, especially the driver. This made my entire family stop and think about how much we take out lives for granted. God Bless to all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in this tragic accident. I was in a state of disbelief upon hearing of this. I have been going to the races since I was a kid and fortunately have never witnessed anything of this nature and hopefully will never have to. I normally go to Belleville and have only been to Mt. Vernon once and really enjoyed the races there. I just pray that the families of all involved and the racing community will find a way to carry on with their lives.
