revised challenege issued to highland sportsman drivers

Hey Jimmy, I think they tore all sportsman down last week.... Why don't you grow some B A L L S and take the challenge???
 
ct _00 and D.T. fan#1 did you think they were going to find something wrong now Really ! its not about having B A L L S but more about whats right . Every Racer has the right to b i t c h about what they think is wrong but it has to be proven to be true .
There for its not about having B A L L S or not . I think Every racer (like them or not) females too has B A L L S if they climb in the car and race. They are not going to get rich here the most they are going broke to try to keep going doing the things they like doing. So let them b i t c h its their right its their Money and time spent
 
bob,ya bout ready to pizz me off,,last week the tec was 100% on the up n up,,i do belive they even had the tow truck lift the black 1 car so they could check his clutch...they even looked under my car and it has a freakin automatic...tell ya what,,,if you think some one is running outside the rules,,give me the money to have them checked,,any car out there,,,then me and whoevers car you want me to put up YOUR $$$ on,,will go out and have dinner on your bux,,lenny (please dont hit my car in the pits)garson............LOL
 
all this talk about having b a l l s makes me wonder, what does that mean?

-does it mean cheating to win?
-does it mean sticking up for yourself?
-does it mean knowing you are getting cheated and putting up with it because you dont want to ruffle anyones feathers?
-does it mean going places at a disadvantage and trying your best to compete? or not going anywhere but your home track or places you have the field out-classed?
-does it mean hiding behind initials on a message board and calling people out that you dont know?
-does it mean being a promotor or track worker and admitting for weeks that you know people at your track are cheating and that you can't do anything about it?
-does it mean that you start cheating just because other people are? does that take b a l l s?
-does it mean traveling to other tracks in other states and areas to race against their best and try to beat them or does it take more b a l l s to stay home and pick on the same guys every week?
 
This challenge is just a bulls h i t ploy to deflect attention off the original problem. Also trying to keep cars coming after they were allowed to be cheated.
 
Hey Bob...I realize that everyone has the option to cry and complain about whatever they want, cuz it is their $$, which has nothing to do with anybody taking this challenge....

As far as I am concerned whatever happend the first half of the season shouldn't really matter. The offer is clear as can be and the rules are in place. So if I were a competitive sportsman driver i would come to Highland and take my chances on getting in on some of that Eilers money....JMO
Its goin to be a hot one out there tonight...
 
People are starting to confuse last weeks fiasco with what this post is about. It's been hijacked.
Started out as a challenge, turned into an traction control acusation, then to switching cars, now to a previous post.
This post should have stayed the original way it was intended.
Heck If I had a Sportsman/streetstock, or whatever they call em nowdays, I'd try it out. Look at Bloomquist in the $100,000 summer nationals year. He didn't win the most races, but he finished towards the front, and brought home the money.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if an Eilers didn't win this challenge.
CT It's gonna be hot, but the beer is gonna be cold.
 
Lenny i don't care if i piss you off. 2 off i didn't say it was not on the up and up i just said if somebody was cheating do you really think they would be so stupid as to leave it alone when they know s h i t hit the fan so Lenny maybe you should stop defending something that was not said in my last post . 3 off i said it was not cheating if the person in charge of the place wont do anything about it . kinda of a lost cause now get over it and move on. Seems like you got alot of defending for no reason.
 
CT i agree and i agree with 911 so lets just go racing and what happens happens . Jimmy give it a try for now ,hope to see you there come talk to me when u get a chance

post #49. sideshow bob; gotta STRONGLY disagree with your statement about "it's not cheating if the person in charge won't do anything about it"... going 40mph in a 20mph school zone is still illegal; just because you 'know the cop' , and wont get pulled over, doesnt make it legal.... thats just common sense.
 
if you read the challenge it says ALL cars so i assume that means late model, modifieds, street stock, and hornets not to mention sportsman so lets see 1250 dollars times5 classes could cost someone 6250 dollars. So i guess it is russell against everyone talk about arrogant. it also says anyone who scores more points so this could really cost someone big bucks.
 
bob,the very first line of your post,you state "did you really think they were going to find something wrong?"like i said,most of what you post i agree with,to me the above statement says that even if they found a rule violation they would let it go...you may not have wanted the post to sound like they would overlook a violation but thats the way i read n understood it

Congrats to Robbie Lee on his feature win tonight at Highland Speedway. I think this challenge could shape up to an interesting deal....
Thanks to the Eilers racing team for offering such a great opportunity for other sportsman drivers to compete for such an outstanding season ending prize.

Good luck to the 88 and the rest of the sportsman teams the rest of the year.

I LOVE it when people who hide behind a screen name tell someone else to grow some balls. Two of you, who don't have your names attached to your post telling someone else to grow some balls is such an oxymoron. Why don't YOU grow some balls and post your names boys.

So Chris Timmermann, what constitutes growing some balls? I think Jimmy had many different thoughts on it. Care to share? Why should anyone go racing where it isn't fun anymore? Why should someone go racing where there is obvious cheating? I've always told my friends that race. Go out there and have fun, when it isn't fun anymore something needs to change. I'm thinking Jimmy has done that. So why does he need to go back to Highland? If you feel that the deck is stacked against you, why play the game? Why put money into a hobby that he isn't enjoying? Kind of defeats the purpose of having a hobby, don't you think?
 
Jimmy obviouslly has a problem with the way things have been handled at highland, and has voiced his opinion. (alot)
I think when CT00 said to grow some nuts, He should have said "Put up or shut up"...........Thats the way I've taken it.
