I wouldn't wanna have to find new wheels, tires, find some manifolds, take out the quick steer and other stuff that doesn't go with the rules but like I said good luck to them as they try something newA $65 street tire to a $100 Hoosier tire sounds like a no brainer to me. IMCA hobby stocks must run a street tire also and they are doing fine with it. Just find the best tire for the situation and run it. I mean as for the hobby stocks, if you look at the rules they aren't much different than what is out now. Yes there is a few differences but nothing that's not a huge deal breaker. I actually like their motor rule. I don't see why the tracks around can't run that motor rule. I mean after all you have a years transition period.
Not on the limited latemodels, i was told you can run the hoosier tire but only til july then have to be in American racer, so looks like im going to have to try and find some used ones, because my budget only allows me to run used ones,
As the promoter of Route 45 Raceway let me say this again...for 2016 the ONLY rule change in pure stock class is American Racers instead of Hoosiers.I wouldn't wanna have to find new wheels, tires, find some manifolds, take out the quick steer and other stuff that doesn't go with the rules but like I said good luck to them as they try something new
