rumors???

I heard about this 'incident' Saturday at SFCR. I wasnt out at Doe Run on Friday, but from some of the people i have talked to, fellow drivers that were in the race and very close to what happened, the 3 car gave enough room for the 69 to get a run and be passing him just after the cone. Im not defending or accusing anyone of wrong doing, but i think its a little silly to be arguing about a pass that happened last week. (especially under a fake name)
 
Cone...............

The cone was pulled on the 4th car, and I do believe that was the 69.... He did not pass before the cone... The passing took place going into turn 3.........

I just wonder with these gas prices if a few more racers will drop out of racing... cost twice the money just to go racing...:( :(

What I meant was I don't see why anyone would leave Doe Run to go to the Rock. You don't know one week from the next if it will be open. And the Doe Run facility as a whole is hands down better than the Rock. But this is JMO.
 
Some of you may be mistaken, I DO NOT REPRESENT THE #3 CAR IN ANY WAY! Because I took the same opinion as these people you got it in your heads Im your guy.
I CANT EVEN SPELL THE #3 CAR'S LAST NAME! I AINT HIM! I just saw things happen the same way they did! Not a crime just a disagreement!
 
XiBALBA, You can't get through to these people, it is an impossibility. You are either with them or against them. That is the only way they see things, black or white, no gray. Unless you are talking about track rules, then there is more than enough gray to go around!!! And quite frankly, if some of the gray doesn't get eliminated(as far as rules goes) I don't beleive I will support the place anymore. But I'm sure that won't break anybody's heart in the least! Let's hope they get it together, there are plenty of good racers who enjoy racing there, it just needs to cater a little more to all the racers not just a few!

yeah not knowing if it will open is killing some people... just hope if it does open the new operators will be devoted to the track

Easy does it there you dont want to make these people mad like I did! We might end up on the same $hit list. I spoke from the heart about this entire thing and you see where I ended up. You are indeed right, Your either in or out! Im on the outside lookin in! But I still have my dignity. You may not be the only one going elsewhere. I sure as heck dont wanna speak for the #3 car anymore but I think they pi$$ed off a track sponsor. I better not go in to that any further.
Im still not the #3 car folks just tired of some of the BS.
 
as far as the 3 and 69, racing is racing, even with a cone. as far as the rock, if u dont like d.r., go to the rock, never been there, but i have never heard anything good from it. the only downfall about d.r. is the darkness in the pits, but the track is great.
 
Well, there is good and bad at any track. Best thing to do is say what you mean and mean what you say. If people don't like it, screw 'em. I would rather people say it to my face than behind my back. I hope DRR gets their act together and it all works out. From what I have been hearing they are trying to do just that. Once again I wish them all the luck, but at this point it looks like I might not be going there because of a change in plans.
