Yes, intimidation sounds like someone who creates a screename for a particular post to create a bigger issue and cannot come forward and ask an actual official for the truth themselves.

Let's review:"a man who was apparently working there (because he had a red shirt on like the rest of them,") is what you said in your post. Sounds like you are pointing fingers to me.

Secondly, how did the explanation not make sense, or better yet, how is it not professional. I brought up no names, agreed with you that the incident was wrong, and told you we are working hard to stop the arguing. This is not professional???

1.Who was I defending??
2.How can I make more sense of this than I did?

You made a valid point in your first ever post about the incident you overheard, but your last post is a bit much for me!

liquidquick, I think you may want to take back your statement about Bedrock officials not using profanity in front of kids. I have witnessed it a minimum of two times and I have only been spectating at the track since last fall..
No track is perfect, everyone makes mistakes...As I said earlier, work on making consistent calls week to week, class to class, and especially kart to kart...
 
Ok why dont we all just agree alot of people are not happy justified or not but I believe it is in everybodys best interest if we just let this thread die.

it looks to me that bedrocksux101 and sad spectator are one in the same.they both signed up the same day,have no viewers profile, and cant sign there posts. its time to go check yourself into the hospital, they have stress centers for people that hold things in for 3 weeks and rubber rooms for people that talk to them selfs.so take racrxs advice and let this post die and take my advice and get yourself some help. dave. :eek:

Not sure where I said Bedrock officials have never used profanity in front of kids. My post refers to the incident that Mrs. Amy King was refering too. The two guys yelling at one another were not Bedrock officials. As for the calls by the corner officials and the flagman, they may need some improvement. Remember though, they are all VOLUNTEERS. We ask almost every week at the drivers meeting if others would like to help. We would appreciate your help if you are there every week and are willing to watch every race.

How about this??? As DirtRich said earlier, I think all of the people that are complaining about the favortism and this and that at Bedrock should get together and run the track for one night. Then, you can see how difficult it is to run a track. The officials at Bedrock are not going to see everything on the track. It's an impossible task. The same thing happens at Belle-Clair, Pevely, Highland, Tri-City, etc.

Instead of taking your anger out on the officials at Bedrock, maybe you people should talk to your kids about the rough driving. Maybe you're directing your anger at the wrong people. I know one father, in particular, that smiles after his son hammers a kart in the corners just to make a pass. That's really teaching your son something. Isn't it???

Van, Ashley, Frank, Larry, Chuck, Justin, and Bob are all volunteers. They're doing the best they can. It's a tough job to do. If you guys keep b**ching and moaning about Bedrock, Frank may say enough is enough and then we won't have a place to race at on Friday nights.

All anybody wants is consistancy. Right now there is no consistancy to the calls at Bedrock I know they have a tuff job and not everything can be seen but it does SEEM like depending on who does something it makes a difference on how it is called and if the night in question is the one I am thinking it is Larry was wearing a bedrock shirt that night.

you are right, consistency is a problem for all race tracks. It is hard to judge exactly what happens all the time. That is why there are people always mad at race track officials. Our corner flagman make the calls and the girls in the tower score it that way. They don't care who it is, they just tell the tower what they saw. As I said before RacrX, we would honestly love more help. The more eyes watching the race, the better. So if you think we are only penalizing certain people, help us out! But not as a family member, a crew person, or a racer, just as an official. If is hard to find officials who want to watch every race all night long and get yelled at.

As far as the incident, to try an end this issue, I guarantee you Larry was not wearing a Bedrock Shirt. I stood between them during the argument and it was a drag boat racing shirt. Not sure what it said, but it had a drag boat on it.

if you are talking about the last nite b4 i sold the kart. your are wrong about the shirt because i never wear that shirt when we are racing.that arguement got started because i got tired of that person calling me a cheater for the last 2 years to the track officals. they hit on the right tire prep that nite and his kart was fast, so when i said he was cheating the man that called me a cheater for 2 years started yelling.
 
Alright i know i haven't raced this year at all in a kart. but lets take a look at what we have and that is someone *****ing about bedrock. How about people stop worrying about other people and work on their karts. It seems to me that no matter how old people get they love to get on the internet and complain about something. If you go look on the big board the big tracks have the same thing. So everyone should be happy they have a couple places to race in the area and should get off the computer and go work on their karts to make them faster so they are so far out front they won't be able to ***** about anything. Not saying anyone is perfect but it seems to me that no one is perfect and no matter what happens someone is gonna get on here and say they were cheated. As far as someone saying larry cheated for 2 years lol who cares you know what that tells me someone needs to work alittle more on the set up. Larry had a fast kart flat out. Pretty sure the saying goes get fast chasing fast so everyone get those karts ready and go race and be glad there are people that spend alot of hours into a kart track so you people can come race
