Schrader and wallace must have the longest arms in the world.(drawing pill from illinois) It is my understanding that the driver or car must be at the track by the end of pill draw time. If this indeed is the case then something indeed smells fishy! Also as lucky as both were to draw pole spots in their heats you would think that they would be winning all the nascar racing. Schrader was fast in the feature NOT trying to take that away from him. Just simply stating that if your going to make rules lets all haft to go by them.(even if you own the track, or are his buddy)

I was not at I-55 saturday, but I can tell you the rule is CAR or DRIVER has to be there to get a pill. I tried to draw a pill for my dad last week and they wouldn't let me said that was the rule. If Kenny and his car were both not there he shouldn't have gotten a pill. If his car was there then everything was done right. I have also tried in the past to call ahead and get a pill, as some tracks allow that, and they don't do that either.
Kenny and kenny flew in way after pilldraw closed. It doesn't matter if their cars were there or not, they weren't. I was also wondering if anyone else notice the way schraders car sounded verses everyone elses? I like schrader and think he's a great driver,I just hope his equipment is legal.

Schrader runs an ARCA motor in his modified, which is perfectly legal, since it's a steel block.
I know that they do get paid for showing up at the tracks, One owner told me so then an offical at another track told me and on and on.
What gets me is these guys are millionares, and they come in and take our chump money. I understand they love to race too. But let them sign autograghs or something or take a few laps at intermission to let the fans see them.
They aren't NASCAR anymore , heard they lost their rides??
Another thing with the Nascar Drivers buying all these race tracks they don't pay anymore, alot of classes are running for the same pay 20 years ago, and they want to come get our petty cash to take home.
Or if they win or they can donate their winnings to a childrens foundation or let them take the money and put it torwards the back of the finish payout,

To me it dosn't matter what pill you draw. If your fast enough you'll get to the front. You people crying about Schrader and Wallace ought to be glad that they come back to our hometown tracks to race with us. Schrader even said to a Nascar magazine that the local dirt track guys are good but will never get a chance because of money and oppurtunity issues. He has a lot of class to say that. And he has always treated people fair here. And then some. So quit downing on good guys. Learn to take the good with the bad.

I can't speak for Wallace, but I know that there have been many times that Schrader has donated his winnings back to the track (not his own) & I also heard at one time, that he gave his winnings to the guy that finished 2nd to him.

Jimmy,how can you be so sure?I was told this year by a LM driver that he got a bad call and I55 called him payed him for the win that night and payed him to show up every night.now i dont no this for a fact, i was not their just what he told me and a few people that was around his car

True statement ... so why do they "arrange" for them to start up front .. let them race for their spot the same as everyone else ... If Schrader and Wallace were there to "put on a show" then start them in the BACK and let the fans watch them "race"...
But NO .. without the driver being there (true, their cars WERE at the track) ...
Schrader drew THE LOWEST PILL at his OWN track.
His "guest" Wallace drew the THIRD LOWEST PILL at the track
This assured that they would be in the FRONT of the race and they WOULD NOT be in the same race .... Who drew their pills????
What are the odds of this EVER happening???
If them boys are that LUCKY they ought to buy some lottery tickets ... cus' my guess is they would have had a better chance of winning the lottery than both pulling the lowest pills on the SAME night ...
The track allowing this to happen is a disgrace and a slap in the face to the drivers that SUPPORT them EVERY WEEKEND ...
By support, I mean PAY for pit passes ... do you really think that Schrader, Wallace or any of their folks PAY for pit passes when they race??? And Schrader fan ... I've SPOKEN to MANY drivers who have finished behind Schrader and they NEVER got any money from Schrader ... when and who did he give this to ... don't say "I heard" ... tell us who he gave the money to??? I don't think you can.
I agree with Speedy 95 ... let them come in and sign autographs, run some hot laps then start in the back of the feature, but start them as provisionals (an extra spot). DON'T allow them to take a spot from a regular racer. At payoff .. skip their finishing spot and pay out the feature as if they were not there ... but quit taking money (what little there is) away from the weekly racer who needs it a lot more to keep their racing operations going ....
