They will run 4 classes..
UMP Late Models
UMP Modifieds

Between B-Mods, Street Stocks & 4 Cylinders they will decide which 2 of those classes they will run by Dec. 7th. -- B-Mods had the strongest showing at the drivers meeting. The only Street Stock / Sportman guys there were all Callaway cars. Only a couple of 4 Cylinders drivers were on hand.

------------------

There will be no alcoholic beverages in the grandstands.. They won't sell it and coolers are not allowed.

Grandstand admission will be $12. Students with high school ID are 1/2 price. Military and first responders with ID are 1/2 price. Senior citizens (65 and over) are $10. Then 8 years and younger were free I believe.

Pit admission will be $30.. Drivers with autograph cards available will get pit passes for $25. I believe it was kids 6-15 get in for $15. Kids 5 and under free in the pits. There will also be a $5 entry fee for each car everyweek with 100% of that going to that divisions point fund.

--------------------

Parking in the pit area will be done by class.. All late models pit together, all modifieds pit together and so on.

There will be a new pit entrance. That entrance will be back closer towards the interstate.

Just wanted to say thanks for coming out. Got some good feedback. Heard some strange ideas.
Really sucks we cant sell beer til the track is sold. Hopefully within a couple years that could happen.
Bmods proved a point they want a home here, so they will be here. The stocks and 4cyl is a big?
Parking will probably end up being more split than he thinks. There are lots of multi car teams that are in different classes than he thinks. Besides I personally believe if you park near someone you might have issues with it will only lead to more problems. Might be a short lived experiment.
Again thanks to everyone that came out, it was productive. Thanks,
Trace

Glad to hear meeting went well and that the bmods have a spot there. That class will grow rapidly imo. That not selling or allowing beer is a terrible thing. I don't think they'll ever get over the hump without it. BIG part of the dirt track crowd likes to drink a few beers and enjoy some racing. And why not its what this entire sport derived from! Great idea on the drivers with cards getting a break.jmo Good luck mmp.

The no beer sales is that in the contract from Randy? That's going to hurt. I am glad the b-mod guys made a good showing just wish the ss guys would have too. I still think the tcs rules are the best option and give the class a few years to grow. Cant wait for March!

Yea the ONLY stipulation was beer! Couldnt see it breaking the deal. But it pretty much kills a purse for a class. We got some thinking to do.

pretty dead set on the rules from tri city witch are the rules from the last time the track was up and going..... atleast thats what everyone agreed upon at the meeting last night but Jim has the final say in it all

Definitely not what I would call a good businesman. At least for us racers. Other stuff maybe a genius. But this hurts!

I don't have a dog in this fight, but that place won't last very long if they don't allow beer or sell it. B-mods have always had the most cars.....Good luck boy's, Yer gonna need it !

B mods are going to be there. And eventually beer too. Just got to get it away from the property owner.

One party bus load canceled, when we heard this was going to go a week ago, we made it a stop or 4 on our adventures. Oh well ,MMP loses. Good luck to all. Hope you get the b-mod rules figured out. Fast growing class.

Yes. Or the g60 and american racer. I know the dis advantage but Jim said he will find used A tires for people if they need them.

I thought he said no g60 tires last night but I may not have heard right I thought if he would allow the G60 tires some cars would show up and try the track that may other wise not come but I understand tire deals Jeff Gay

I think the people complained about not being able to compete with them. So Jim said he would get people some emods if they would come. I know there was some back and forth on the issue. Maybe your right? If the subject comes up I will find out. Or on dec 7th the rules will be posted.
My wife here says she heard it like you did. I didnt take notes, and before the meeting I thought all thise tires were options.
At least the class will be there. Thats way better than a few days ago.
