to be a RAMS or not to be

how much is....

a total tear down at doe run raceway. i think it is 450.00 total tear down. and get this, 200 per motor part protested. theres only a 50.00 difference. really its a better deal with rams rules because a head is 100.00 a clutch is 100. thats for the whole thing just not one item. maybe that will clear it up a bit.;)
 
Important things to remember:

1. We are Doe Run Raceway.
2. We have our own set of rules. Anyone wanting to race with us is welcome to do so BUT must abide by our rules.
3. RAMS members who wish to race at our facility are welcome to do so but must abide by what I posted above.

I think some of you are trying to turn this into a pissing match between the RAMS and DRR again. Not going to happen!

So keep these things in mind before hitting the "submit" button as I am watching this thing very closely.

And to be quite honest, while I do enjoy reading all the controversy (as long as we're not involved), and do log on a lot of times just to keep up with it, this kind of thing is not healthy for any organization, be it RAMS, UMP, IMCA or whatever. After all, a lot of this stuff is so ridiculous it's funny. Healthy discussion is good for you, however this petty bickering, arguing and testosterone matches are a bunch of **** and I will not allow you all to turn this board into what happened over on the RAMS board.

As I have said I plan on keeping my #52 truck DRR legal and take my chances @ RAMS events. Doe Run has to be the most fun you could ever have in a mini stock anywhere. It's a perfect size for our type of racing and I'm thankful that you made it this size two years ago. I'm also thankful that you let us race last year (as long as we meet DRR rules) at DRR and we got to count it toward the RAMS.
As for as I'm concern anything in the future regarding the RAMS should be post on the 4 cyl. Dirt Forum.

Rules Meeting

We are going to be having a rules meeting for the Mini Stocks. It will probably take place shortly after deer season.
