Top dirtiest or "aggressive" dirt track drivers??

Bob Geaschel told it was Bargetzi. Bargetzi told me it was Geaschel.

Tie?

TTG/MM;-)

why move on if your doing so good winning? if your making money doing it, why risk trying somethin new? Do you see billy moyer or scott blumquist moving into NASCAR after winning championships? Ive watched several videos, been to several races. Rubbin is racing, if you go to the track thinkin that ur not gonna get tore up, stay home. JMO

Why move up? Seriously?

Let's weigh this out: race a pro-4, under 200 HP under the hood, little skinny hard tires, almost no adjustability to adapt handling, and racing in a class that many people consider to be "go to the snack bar and the restroom time"........

vs.

Race a late model, 750+ HP under the hood, nice wide tires, tons of adjustability to dial in handling, and race in the class that most tracks and fans consider to be the main attraction. Hmmmm, I have no idea why Crump wanted to move up.

Crump had a heck of a career in a pro-4 and, like any racer, jumped at the opportunity to move up.

(ps...I raced a pro-4 for two years so I'm certainly not knocking them!)

Bill Faust,"Fireplug"Marty Smith SR.,John Pate,Larry and Kurt Richter,Randy Korte,Marvin Frey. All these drivers had dirty reps. WOW, the good old days. Today, the lines are blurry about dirty/aggressive driving. JMO.

i remeber the marty sr, pate, rick johnson days. wow...always action at the track with them guys around

TAKE ME BACK!!! I love the old days. You could almost see the retaliation before it happened.
Kurt is my neighbor. We have a BLAST talking about the old days.

I did own a Pro Late Model in the past but with the declining economy amongst some other reasons; I regretfully was not able to remain in that class. I have a passion for racing, but have a family as well and must stay within my means. Therefore, the 4-cyl class suites me well.

"FIREPLUG" How cool is that!! I'll have to have a sign made for his parking spot! LOL
He reminds me of one of those "weeble" toys and I'm a short guy myself.:D Seriously though, that man could drive and build some Badazz cars! Loved the Orange color scheme:cool: The battles he had with Greg McCray were fun to watch.

Which crew guy were you? I was a member of that crew from the first day he raced to the last day he raced.

Greg McCray

My thoughts and prayers are with Greg and his family this holiday season. He's battling serious health issues. Best Wishes!!!:)

Funny thing is a lot of the people on here wouldn't know the difference between dirty driving, aggressive driving and just plain pay backs. That is why I try not to pass judgement on what a driver does on the track. I would say a high percentage of the "dirty driving" is merely "pay back" for what was done in the past... drivers have long memorys!

Mike harrison isnt dirty he just knows how to drive leave him out of it

I was at Brownstown when Mike pushed Mullins down the front strait sideways into turn one. Mullins had no choice but to go low. the fast line that night was high. Mike took the lead with that move and won the race. Yeah Mike knows how to drive....Dirty.
