AMEN SISTER !!!!! Sounds like somone that Matt might have raced beside and " passed their BUMPER " Sorry loser :D Matt has totaly proven his talent, as well as some of the other Sportsman guys that are stepping into the Mod class. Good Luck to you Matt, you have as good as chance as anyone to win ANOTHER TRACK CHAMPION ...... LD :)
I don't think it is anyone that Matt has passed or even anyone he has raced against before. No REAL DRIVER (especially one that had raced in the same class as Matt) would say that any champion is a "paper track champion". But, who knows, I may be wrong. I think any racecar driver knows how much time and money goes into racing....whether there be 7 cars or 40. I may be biased, but I agree that Matt has proven that he has talent in a racecar....now whether or not he wins in the mod or not, only time will tell. Sure, he might not win the first night out or even his first year out, but let's give all the "new" guys some time to catch onto the difference in the cars. Good luck Matt and all the drivers moving up into the modifieds from the sportsman!

I think all our guys that are moving from the Sportsmen (aka Hobby Stock) class will do well in the mods. I hate the class was dropped at Farmington because I know so many people that are either involved with the class directly or came just to watch that particular class. It's not going to be the same without them at SFCR, but at least most of the drivers are still going to be there in one class or another.

Not the first time Farmington killed the sportsmen class. Mabey the name is just bad luck. Good luck to all who stepped up to the mods.
