USRA Has The 2016 B-Mod Rules Posted

Wow you must really have a sad life to feel the need to go read and comment on posts that not only are "getting old" to you but also have literally no effect on your life. Lol

Dude if your wanting a argument you got one but I won't do it on here! Your more than welcome to call me 618-420-7089 and I can give you what your looking for!!

The rules have always been out, ump website has 2016 rules posted for weeks now, they are not changing much of anything, just enforcing what they said would happen year by year! Same thing as posted before tracks started allowing their version, it's simple get over it or get out!

Ignorant. but, other the other part. 2015 rules are out. Most may be the same, but how many know about the shock rule changes already? NOT MANY.

Dave, I beg to differ with your observation of no difference between stock rockers and roller rockers.
I've done this test by using each type of rocker on the same engine.
If you turn them both over with a torque wrench there is a big difference in the torque needed to turn the stock rockers over.
I wish I had saved all my notes, but it wasn't an insignificant amount of extra torque for the stock rockers.
Not quite on the same subject, but try the same thing with roller lifters and you'll never run flat tappet again!!!
When we did the roller lifter test it wasn't quite the same because I didn't switch cams, just used similar engines for the tests.

Here's what I was talking about with the same cam giving very different lifter movement with the same exact lobe and a different style of lifter. In this case a flat tappet cam with a roller follower: This is a Competition Cams 252H lobe for a 351 Cleveland engine.
Graph showing the differences

Cam card with the correct(flat tappet lifter)

Cam card with same cam lobe but plotted using a .750 wheel roller:

A flat tappet and a roller cam can be ground to give exactly the same valve train action but the masters and the resulting lobe shape will look very different due to the fact that the contact point and pressure angle moves around with the roller follower as the cam rotates.

Since I've never raced a dyno I think I'll stick with my obsevstions!!!!

I've never raced a dyno or a flow bench either but the truth is that they are great and necessary tools to help in building engines that do race better on the track. I'm just reporting what I found in actual testing in a running engine.

Ignorant huh springer well read the dam rules from 2015 the shock rule hasn't changed they are just trying to enforce the sticker rule and no you don't have send your shock and wheels in for a sticker, your manufacturers will provide stickers if you have proper shocks, like I said ump said after one year said they were going to work towards all tracks on these rules but if you would quit bitching and start reading you would understand but hey that's ok you will be there anyway no matter what the rules, if you still don't understand I can explain better than on here 573-883-6768 BRIAN WORLEY

I believe they have taken away shocks that were approved on their list from last year and added other ones for this year..I could be wrong but I have last years list and the new list from this year..

Finally someone gets what I've been saying!!! All the crying for nothing!!! The crying baby shit gets old!!!

So if you already have the shocks how do you get the sticker? Oh and sorry if I offended any spectators with my question..

Once stickers are available Chuck everyone might be able to show your shock to your Local dealer and be provided sticker, Im sure ump will have cost involved but they have not confirmed yet how it will actually go down

I'm actually going to bow out of this one. Can't compete with the minds of people who run 20k street stocks.

Wow this guy has issues. Mr faustfan2 (I'm a fan of both fausts as well) like someone said this is a forum for drivers and crews to discuss this sort of thing. Are you a driver or crewman?
