Voigt Wins 100 lapper

SAmIam67: Randy made a commitment to race the 100 lapper at Belleville earlier this year so the NALMS Speedweek points were not an issue. As far as the North/South race I don't think he would have gone anyway because of the expense of the 3 day format. Randy is pretty much running his own schedule this year and running the shows that make sense to him for that weekend without being a "regular" at any local track.

Belleville was a lot of fun last night, great racing in all of the classes! The track was smooth and racey!

Thanks to the Kreke gang for the cup cakes!

mark: didnt get to see the 100 lap feature to go that distance for the victory that real good job

I know that 100 laps is the tradition for the fair race, but since they count the yellow laps, why not just run something in the 50-75 lap range and NOT COUNT the yellow laps, if only for simplicity's sake?

I'm not complaining about the distance per se--17 cars finishing a 100 lap race is an incredible lack of attrition. I remember one year at Macon's Herald & Review 100 only 5 or 6 cars finished the race.

great race mark.as predicted he went to the front without touching anybody and he and korte put on a clinic for several laps. to the last post by bp.not broke dont fix it.

But wasn't there another car involved in the 2nd incident? I think the number 44 was stopped in turn 2 and he got his spot back.

THE 44 WAS KINDA IN A DEAL ALL HIS OWN. HE WENT UP AND GOT CAUGHT ON THE WALL. HE DID STOP, BUT THE CAUTION MUST HAVE BEEN FOR THE FRANKIE/HELMICK DEAL.
