Our thoughts and prayer to the entire family. Mike was a man among MEN and will be truly missed. He was a great man and made every one feel like they was King or Queen.

Bruce, Debbie, and Jimmy Cummins, and Mike & Cathy and Evan Bess

I looked for a picture of Mike in my files and found this one from 2007. He always interviewed my German exchange students every year and made them feel so special. I'm just at a loss for words here.

wow. this is very upsetting, i have known mike a long time, i started going to highland with my dad when i was 10 and he was announcing there then, and got to know him and then all the years i raced at belleville mike was there. the races will never be the same there again.

Our thoughts and prayers to Tina and family. Mike aka talker guy you will be truly missed. Racing will never be the same. R.I.P Mike.

I'm deeply saddened by hearing of TTG's passing. Mike wasn't just an announcer, he was our friend and mentor. always making the races fun for everyone. Belle Clair and I-55 will never be the same. RIP Mike and God speed to you.

I found these pictures of Mike from 2008, one from when he was over talking to us in the pits after the races at Belleville, probably getting some more cookies.

You know I am setting here barely able to see the screen from the tears. I had so much to learn yet from that man. He was truly the greatest. Behind the scenes we had so much in common as far as birthdays and past organizations that we belonged to it was so cool. He helped me make the transition from the dj world to the announcing world although I do know I have a ways to go. I will miss him the most and my prayers go out to Miss Tina and family. God speed Mike. You will always be in my heart buddy. Love ya man. Paul Aubuchon and family

Hard to come up with words to express how much he will be missed. Mike was such a GREAT announcer, but he was much more than that... he was an entertainer... he was a friend. Anyone can talk into a microphone and call themselves an announcer, but very few can actually entertain while doing it. Mike was THE MASTER! (It's a pretty good testament to TTG that every once in a while, you got kinda upset that the races were interrupting the entertainment).

Tina and family, my deepest condolences to you all.

I'm just in shock. I was so looking forward to coming back to I55 and hearing him announce the races once again. This is just completely heart breaking. Mike was a good family man, a Viet Nam veteran and an all around good guy. He will be sorely missed by my family and I. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family.
