Wes Steidinger gets BANNED for life from Farmer City Raceway

I'm pretty sure Frye was in a Billy Moyer #21 car. Not sure what the deal was with him driving it though. He won the feature.

I'm sure Revin looks back on that incident a little differently now being a track owner...:(

steidinger probably should have handled it better, but ramming a car with a pushtruck? you gotta be kidding me! drivers have to worry enough about other cars tearing their stuff up, and now the promoter adds to it? i wouldnt go back either wes.

i dont think it was one of moyers cars.. it was pettroff's cars..

you people crack me up. how many people were actually there that have commented on this deal? probably none, ok maybe one or two. how many people that have commented have actually been to FC?

the bottom line is only those 2 know exactly what happened. you can speculate all you want but you wasnt there, didnt see it, and its all speculation at this point.

you are absolutely correct. we are allowed to speculate and state our opinions on this public forum. don't matter if we were there or not. thanks for clearing this up.

You can mark me down as one who's never been there. I don't know what difference it makes because there are more different opinions to what happened by those who were there. I would bet that Mr. Hammer and Mr. Steidinger each have a very different opinion as to what the facts are.

I'll elaborate.

I think Wes will say that Don taking a spill was an accident and mostly his own fault. Don will say Wes intentionally dumped him. Don will say the contact in the pit was accidental while Wes will say it was intentional. Just My Opinion. (JMO)

So Mr. Superglide, why don't you share with us what you think happened or is it that you just don't think.

The video of the infield incident was on you-tube for a short while. It showed somethings that very few of those who were there caught.

And you're speculating as to how many people seen it, and what they did or did not see.

mr superglide, thats funny stuff. the facts will come out soon enough. and everyone will know exactly what happened. but for now lets all keep talking about stuff that no one knows anything about. he said she said, my buddy told me so its gotta be true. and yes if its on the internet or this forum than it has to be true.

Wait a minute.

One of the top drivers in the state gets banned from a track after an alleged incident with the promotor on the track and in the pits.

DID YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THAT PEOPLE WOULDN'T TALK ABOUT IT????

Of courae we don't know all of the facts and we probably will never know all the facts. I bet if you talk to Wes then talk to Hammer you'll get two completely different perspectives.

No one will ever know exactly what happened. Maybe , eventually, we will get Wes's take and/or Don's, but only if we keep talking about it. We do know what the supposed punishment to Wes is but we can only speculate as to what exactly he did to deserve it.

And until someone presents enough facts to show that Wes did deserve the punishment he got I will speculate that Don overreacted.

It's not something I hear or read that makes it true. It's that I have heard or read nothing to make me think it's false.

So when someone gets the info please share it. What is the quotable reason that Don has for how he treated Wes?

There are many times a track will issue a penalty but not the reason why, which leaves us out here speculating. NOTE TO ALL RACETRACKS: If you don't want speculation then issue an official release of the reason a penalty was issued the same time you issue the penalty.

who wins

I dont know either one of these guys but after reading all the postings the bottom line is this, sounds like the pormoter has control of the track and wes isnt invited to come back, you know the old saying its my bat and ball and your not invited to play so thats the way it is, I will also add that what really need to happen at every track across the country is if anything like this happens the local police need to be called and charges need to filed for battery and someone if not both need to go to jail, someone is gonna get killed if the tracks dont stop thinking that its part of there jurisdiction. I know if i am in the bar or even a grociery store and hit someone chances are i am going to jail, just a thought.

Are maybe we wait till we all wake up one morning and hear about a guy that got hit in the head with a tire iron at a local track and died do to the injuries, then people will take notice and the track might even be closed down, is that waht we all want. Drive the idiots out of this sport or at least let them know that if they cross the line there going to jail.

Well thats my thoughts!!!!!!

fights

already been through the jail thing both partys have to go to jail wether the guy owns the track or not...... he sticks his head in the window starts callin ya every name in the book what happens next ? somebody gets drug along side the race car! me personally wouldnt drag someone but i will and have gotten out of the car and went toe to toe with officials. its just racin your gonna have problems . these cars cost way to much money to tear up. the money is what will ruin racing and cause arguments fights etc. either you got the money to buy 10 cars or you dont...

wes

i like wes but i was at farmer city one night when he won the feature a regular show. he done the doughnut thing to celebrate and showered the fans with lethal flying dirt. i was one of them and a lot of other pissed off fans that did not care for it. seems sort of irrelevant but someone could have had their eyes put out. maybe he needs to think before he reacts?

Why is this being brought up again? He is done racing for now. He is selling his equipment so this is an OLD subject and does not need to be discussed again.
