Crystal, then don't get on here yelling it was "rumors" when you know good and well where the information came from. And it wasn't just what you had told this one person. All I was doing was asking a serious question based on information I had received from people I considered honest and truthful.

Jeff, I will get on here "yelling" (as you say) it was "RUMORS" because as far as I KNOW (FACTS) that's all it was.......RUMORS!!!! You're right, I (not you) do know good and well where the information came from..........the RUMOR MILL!!!! Not sure what your "source" told you, but I KNOW what I said, and know that I NEVER saw ANY money being exchanged...................NEVER!!!!!!! Don't accuse me of saying that this DID HAPPEN because I don't know. I, like you and everyone else, have heard some things, but I don't know for sure. Stop putting words in my mouth. YOU don't know what I said!!!!!!!
 
You guys all need to stop.

#1---I've been going out to the track for 4 or 5 years. The honchos like certain people sometimes, and sometimes they don't. That's just people.

#2---I know way too much about the subject from Friday night and what really happened. RUMORS are crazy, but unfortunately some are just too true. If there is an issue about this, you probably won't find out the truth because some people can't tell the truth.

Racers---

please look around you. seriously--look at all the people that come out and support you and look at all the kids that want to be "just like their dads"
your really not teaching anyone a valuable lesson except how to take someone else out when you can't win. I know when I talk to my children about it and they think that it's "Neat" I'd like to choke some of these people. This is supposed to be a family event, not something that would happen at the end of the night at the bar.

I know not all the drivers are this way, and I applaud you for not being. I just wish some of the others would learn something from you guys.

You've got that completely right Racefan75, it's always that way where the majoriity of the racers do exactly what is asked of them and they don't receive the praise they deserve. It's only a small number that make it rough on the majority.

Also, even though I was talking to Crystal, please don't anyone think I don't greatly respect everything she does. She is a tremendous asset to the area's racing community. Everyone has the right to disagree with certain statements.
 
Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to be mean. I just think this gets ridiculous. If people are causing problems, get them out of there.

what's up??????i just wanted to mention on the subject of illegal motors.everyone has seen that i can run with dave at doerun-so if dave was illegal then i would have a good chance of being too.i am telling you the truth here-the bottom end of my car is stock,nothing has been machined,or replaced(except bearings)my head is STOCK FORD and the intake is also-no port work done ,no bigger valves,i do have a aftermarket cam,with springs to match.i have watched dave tear down his motor,it does have ford casting numbers on it-if ya all want to know how to go faster please call me and i will share my years of knowledge,better yet i'll just tell you now-it's all about the FINAL RATIO.when you find the correct tires,gears and transmission you will know-get a cam that operates in the correct rpm range(i turn 7000 at doerun)i even run an alternator and power steering.so before anyone points a finger,think on how you can improve your performance-$i had about 600 in this years motor,it used about 3 quarts of oil a night-if ya want to go fast you can't leave it on the tralior all week.
 
I don't mean problems with motors, I mean being unsportsmanlike. If you have to take someone out and somebody's gonna pay you to do it, you need to be thrown out. Period.:eek:

Problems will be taken care of as they happen........Last weeks events, were a total mess.........Some times things like that happen.....They happen at every track, been to alot of them and seen alot.................And another thing sorry but I dont see it as RUMORS, its GOSSIP..............Unless someone talks to the main source, then its all rumors and gossip.................
 
well i'll tell ya

if what happened to me would have happened to kenny harris he would of packed up and said he was never coming back. thats kenny!!! theres nothing wrong with that.. me on the other hand.it will make me come race there every week just so i make sure they won't win a feature race again. thats how those racers race. the bellews have always been dirty drivers and they always will be until the track does something about it ....quit surgar coating it! you know what happened. you've been around racing long enough. :rolleyes:

It time to let this subject die. It's over. It happened two weeks ago. Move on.

For all of you: To the best of my knowledge, there was no bounty. Was there money collected? Yes. BUT (and as Bad Bob says there's always a but) it was not for a bounty, it was for a protest on the #5 car. Why wasn't the car tore down? When they approached me with the money, they only had $100. The protest fee is $200. Had there been enough money presented in the proper manner, the protest would have happened. END OF STORY.

Now, we have one more night. Normally the best night of the year. The night the men and women who work so hard on these cars get their chance to shine. Our annual mechanic's & powder puff races in the Mini Stock and Dwarf car classes. It's also the last night of the non winged point series for the Multi class.

Thanks to ALL of you that have supported us this year. We enjoy having you race with us. Hope to see you Friday night.

Excuss me, But why is Kennys name coming up??? You can really tell that you & racernot are good friends......................Let me tell you both something.........I don't know why you both have a problem with Kenny leaving Fredericktown that night, But I'm SICK of hearing about it..............He never said,"he was never going back"..........He just never went back.................And it wasn't Kenny that made that post in red it was me.........If you have problem with it I'll be at Doe Run friday nite, and I will come to your trailer..If you have a problem will we discuss it there, don't get on this forum and bad mouth.......... Dave, did you hear at the meeting Sunday that Marty was the first target? then he broke his supposedly illegal engine? Thought that was interesting.

No need to pull the head.. Take the 8; 10mm bolts out of the cam cover to see the DART, I mean FORD casting #'s :D

The only situation with you that I recall is when you decided to go airborn :) How is a driver supposed to go fast with falling debris all around :eek:
