I guarantee you they use track personnel as well for 95% of their tech.. I know this because my dad operates an IMCA sanctioned track in Texas...

Really? So if the top 5 late model guys, top 5 Mod guys go away, all of a sudden the 50 other people racing in those classes should go looking for a new track?
If big names make the world go round, explain to me why NASCAR races have empty grandstands and falling viewership. It aint about stars, every single one of those guys is the "star" of some show or other, and no one gives a crap.

While UMP does no tech. They could do this as well. They choose not to.
I'm sure UMP was at the PRI show making sure that racing cost are contained. They're worst than Obama for spending your money!
I do like the usra limited latemodel, might have to read up some more on it, looks like it would fit my budget better . Membership doesn't matter to me , i ump membership, if i decide to run usra I'll buy there's. .if a membership is going to stop you from racing better sell your stuff because thats not going to change , doesn't matter what sanction you want to run under. And the big money guys personally I'm glad they were able to get sponsors that allows them to be able to get that stuff wish i could ,but when they show up and run at the track im at and i can finish up in the top 5 or so , i feel ive accomplished something to run with them, because money can only buy you parts if you cant work on your stuff and make it fast it doesn't matter how much top parts you got.
