What if your favorite driver was on steroids?

How about clean and sober? Drug free. No hold on 1/2 of us need to get high to understend life as we know it.

Not that it matters, but in England they had a huge scandal about 10 years ago involving the use of "beta blockers" in professional snooker. Beta blockers don't get you high, they just steady your heart rate and take the edge off your nerves, helping you to concentrate. Some pro snooker players were getting them prescribed to steady themselves during the million dollar type championship tournaments.

The big scandal broke when it was discovered that Alex "Hurricane" Higgins was on a prescription for them, along with some other players. Higgins had a history of blowing it toward the end of big money tournaments, but then he started winning them regularly after being prescribed the drugs. After that, the rule makers banned the use of Beta blockers in the professional ranks.

So there are drugs out there that are meant for other purposes that some drivers might get some benefit from.

Maybe I could get some of that when I go to the races. Cause when I see the best drivers in the world racing every weekend my heart rate goes into overdrive :D

So if you run a traffic light that is red that is breaking the law as well....

Yes, if you intentionally run that light or have drugs or alcohol in your system when you run it..... Then as a result of running it, hit and kill someone....you should not have a right to sue anyone. Like the car mfg, because the seat belt or airbag broke your nose or shoulder. Or the traffic signal mfg because you didn't like the shade of red they used. If you've broken the law and have an accident as a result, You should loose your rights.

Maybe my post was misunderstood. And if you were talking about me, I surely didn't mean to act like I was god.

Hey look at that..my 800th post!
