Well, 2 years ago I hauled my stock bodied Street Stock down to Calvert City and raced Steel Block Late Models. I was 100% allied legal. I finished 7th out of 16. And if you get out your 3rd grade reading book, I said half of the street stocks could beat half of the steel blocks. I didnt mean the UMP Late Models that won't run with the fast guys. geeeeeeeeeeez

Jimmy, I think you may have had a lucky night!! Im not bashing you by no means but there is no way a street stock would be competitive against steel block late models!! J.J. Miller who has a lightning fast street stock (Clay Co. car) came to The Vern at the start of this season & ran with the steel blocks, he had nothing for them! As a matter of fact a few different street stocks tried it this year, all had the same results ...Last place!!!!
