Key words in this sentence, "Our cars"

The only way I can figure out that those were "KEY" words is because I don't have a mini-stock of my very very own. AND I won't. But if you don't think that I have any involvement in Bill's truck, you're wrong. That body has been on there for 2 full race seasons with the exception of 1 fender and it didn't HAVE to be replaced last winter. And prepainted works fine if you're going with a solid color but what about say Rick's car. It's probably a little harder to find the solid sheets already in Mark Martin's paint scheme.

Honestly I couldn't care less one way or the other. Hopefully one more year of being involved with the class and then moving on to other things. I just personally don't like the look of the flat sided cars.

All Depends On Who Does The Body. Look At The Sportsman. Some Look Great And Some Look Terrible. Its An Art That Takes Time To Get Good At.

I See The Point On Both Sides Of The Debate. Guess Ya'll Will Have To Put It To A Vote And Let Majority Rule!

Just A Humble Opinion From An Outsider! :)

YOU COULD PAINT YOUR OWN GRAPHICS ON THE PREPAINTED SHEETS ALSO. OR GET VINYL GRAPHICS IF YOU WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY.

Mark, you're gettin' your panties all in a bunch...the "key words",
our cars, I assumed you were refering to the Rams and their car show..
You will have to admit, there are mini-stocks that started this season
looking like they lost last years demolition derby, and only got worse
as the season progressed...

Remember, you can use replacement metal just as long as it is "stock appearing." Not flat sides!

Are you quoting 2004 rules or 2005 rules???

Sheet steel is still more expensive than aluminum by the time you have it cut, bent, and painted. Remember "some guys" cant even afford spare tires and racing fuel is out of the question. More or less be able to buy steel for a new body.

some guys

And some of them guys are more focused on the next target rather than the appearance of their race car/truck.

Now THAT says it all...you are my hero Cobra II

Ummmmmmmmmm I'm not certain about this but aren't most of the RAMS cars unibodies? Won't going to aluminum weaken the cars because the steel body is part of the frame? Not sure on this I'll let the experts hash this on out.
