Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Illinois) - Hearing the track possibly re-opening in 2016.

A Friday/Saturday USRA deal would be fantastic in the area but I won't believe that until I see it. I have a hard time believing Red Hill is going to run on Fridays IF they do open back up. I see them trying to bump Route 45 out of the Saturday night spot or trying to run on Sundays (which I...

Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Illinois) - Hearing the track possibly re-opening in 2016.

I only live about 20 minutes from the track now and I did have a picture on my phone of the place with the sign on, concession lights lit up and the track lights on. There has been a great deal of work done on the property in the last 6 months but I have heard about 100 rumors about what is...

Kentucky Lake making the decision to cut pay after August 1

It definitely takes a lot of work and time to build up like Fairbury has. They have a huge following, the entire community is behind them every week and they produce phenomenal racing every week. I am not saying Route 45 can not do it but it is definitely not going to be easy or quick. I think...

Cost plays a huge part in the car counts. Being in the St. Louis area you have a much wider population to draw from. Route 45 does not have that kind of demographics to appeal to. When there are becoming less and less racers because they can't afford it, you are not going to get big car counts...

Is it true crate late class is in trouble?

We raced crates for a couple of years and really loved the class. The idea of it is great and they are a fun car to race. Unfortunately the cost to be competitive got out of hand (just like every class) and we won't be back dirt racing until something is done to make it somewhat affordable to be...

What do you think a B-mod / Sport Mod is?

Still using a j-bar as your panhard bar but if you do not allow a short panhard bar that will eliminate some extreme suspension movements as well as taking away instant traction.

What do you think a B-mod / Sport Mod is?

2/3 link only (no swingarm/4bar), 2 barrel 500 cfm carb, 360 max cubic inch/602 crate, Hoosier G60 tire, solid pull bar, j bar only(must go over yoke), 1 shock per wheel, 6200 RPM chip Easy tech, easy on the wallet, great racing!
