))) Dope In The Pits!!! (((

To clarify my earlier statement...

when I said I smelled it at Belleville and Pevely, I meant in the stands, because I watch the races from the stands. I wasn't hallucinating that hallucinogec substance evidently!

dirtgirl bought a beautiful GREEN Expedition that is to die for!!!!

All of the great people drive green vehicles!!! :D

P.S. I mow/cut (depending on where you live) my "grass", not smoke it! But, hey, people, IT'S GREEN!!!!! ;)

Bommer Momma

You just aint right girl !!!! I still have the DNA of your slobber all on the passenger door. I scraped a sample off and I am saving it for when my ride disapears... We will have to change the meeting of the minds when it gets cold to the new ride. For one it can hold all of us and it has " HEATED SEATS " ... I know that is an ugly thought right now with it being hot and all but it will be here soon!!!! Brrr... I just got the chillies thinking about it!!!!
And after sitting hours on those metal bleachers the rumpus gets awful frozen in the Spring and Fall ......

I agree with Debbie Cummins

The smell is not just in the pit area, but as far as security goes, I think they all quit or something at I-55. They use to patrol the turn one stand area quite a bit to keep kids and adults off the fence, but not no more. I see little kids and adults alike every Saturday up in that corner, and they are pushing on the fence, and it actually opens a little and if a kid falls through, I am sure there will big problems, I am not saying a kid could but who knows what can happen. And I see them throwing dirt back onto to track, at least I hope it is only dirt.

But I-55 Security is another issue all on its own and another post entirely. Thanks-Danny

Where was the security Saturday night?

RaceFan72--you're right! Security was practically nonexistent last week.

And I did see something being thrown onto the track from Section C on the front straight-away. Maybe it was water, a soda, but something liquid was tossed onto the track when the modifieds were out there. And I've seen people throw dirt back onto the track. Don't some of these so-called "fans" know that not all of the cars out there have window screens? Some classes don't require them. Get a clue people--you could hurt some of these guys down there on the track!

And about the people leaning on the fence!!! How can parents let their little kids stand down there by the fence? Very dangerous!!! I'm not talking about the Jr. Flaggers--Dennis keeps them back from the fence most of the time. I'm talking about the little girl who took her lawn chair up to the fence and sat there with the dirt blowing in her eyes.

And people do lean on the fence, especially when the Late Models line up for their Feature. Something is going to happen one of these nights!

Security needs to be more visible and patrol back and forth like they did at the beginning of the season. Saturday night I was looking for someone to talk to the drunks sitting behind me, but no one was around. The week before this same guy fell on a man who had just had knee surgery--and guess which knee he landed on? You got it! The one with the stitches!

We need you security guys! Don't desert us! :(

Pitdrifter: :D :D :D :D :D :D

Now, here's the big question...Does TTG, who already has an August birthday, drive a GREEN vehicle?????

Remember, only the "cool" people drive GREEN vehicles!

Personally, I find use of any mind/reaction altering substances at any place besides your own home are dangerous. I wonder what a young child thinks sbout his favorite drive drinking alcohol after a race. How does that child know that his driver wasn't doing that during the racing? After nearly losing my sister to an auto accident(non-alcohol realted) involving an EMPTY tractor trailer, I hate to see what would happen to someone in the same situation with a fully loaded car trailer being driven by an inebriated driver with reduced reaction times.
As I have never gotten a chance before now I would like to thank most of the racing community for hepling my sister to recover. One of her goals right after the accident was to WALK into the race track, not be pushed in a wheelchair, so that she could see her favorite drivers. Even though most of you didn't know about the acident, most of you were in her mind as she went through physical therapy and learned how to walk agian after 31 fractures from her waist down. :D

as a driver i hope that my fellow drivers are not doing this after you drive i dont care what you do but what we do on the track effect our lives and safety of us and andthe fans

interesting,,,,when i was on ALLIEDs board of directors,YES,I ACTUALLY WAS A BOARD MEMBER,we discussed doing drug tests on suspected members(I even told Springer he could hold the cup,,JUST KIDDING)but nothing ever came of it,I guess the board did not want to step on any one's civil rights toe's so to speak..all I would sujest is to be ABSOLUTLY sure of your facts prior to pointing any fingers,,go directly to the board, let them take the approriate action,,,just my opion,,if i make some one MAD,,,GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, folks keep the dope at home and away from the track. racing is for a family to enjoy and not smell you effects in the stands and in the pits. So, if your doing it. please remember there r other people who dont want it around them.......

dope

If work can make u "hold the cup" tracks if the problem is there post random tests.. What would happen if a high driver hurt someone dose he get a DUI????
