DuQuoin Mile crate race!

Before you ask yes I was there. I was standing on the front strach and Nick was all over the place Bobby went under him in 1& 2 Nick came down on Bobby. Nick & craw came over to the 38 pit & started it.
 
Setting the story straight:

Britton attacked Nick from the back, Looks like Britton bit off a LITTLE MORE THAN HE COULD HANDLE. Yes, I have seen Britton at other Race Tracks attacking others and sticking his nose where it doesnt belong or had nothing to do with him.

If you don't want to see pictures like this on here, then don't do stuff at the racetrack that will cause this to happen. I certainly wasn't the only one with a camera there taking pictures. There were several people there with video cameras that got most all of it on video as well. I wouldn't doubt if someone takes the time to put that on the internet as well.

The pictures posted aren't anything that the local news wouldn't of shown if it were news worthy.

There were a lot of poeple involved. The picture pages show several different people as well.
 
I for one wish I could have been there to see it for myself. It sure is hard anymore to get the "real, true" story after the fact. Too many opinions and too many eyes and word of mouth...

****s that a good race and good event was ruined...I'm sure a few driver's went home upset..:cool:

All I saw was that Britton kid getting his *** whipped by a woman, and I mean BIG time. I'm pretty sure that every time I see a fight at the track this kid is involved. He threw the first punch, I was right there, and he wasn't even involved in the discussion between Nick and Bobby. He came running in and tried to ****er punch Nick from behind while Nick and Bobby were going over "their performance". Hopefully the little punk went to jail too. I see where he gets it though. His old man was there running his mouth, but always while he had someone standing in front of him. Then he was all BIG TALK when the troopers were there. Can you say Chicken Sh**? Nice family------

I feel for all the people involved in the crate series. What a joke. UMP has done a terrible job, and can anyone tell me what those UMP guys have against Nick Lyons? They had him disqualified before any racing had taken place. The UMP guy made a statement in another teams pit that they were going to make the 2X car have a long day. What's up with that?? All I heard all day is that the 2X motor was illegal..... We all know that every motor out there was illegal in some way or another, but what's funny is that someone can cry about another illegal motor, knowing that their's is too. What a soap opera. No matter what, money will still rise to the top in racing equipment.

So is this crate racing even worth it right now? You guys are still spending the money, but it looks as if its more trouble than its worth. I used to watch all you guys have fun before this crate racing came along.. now you fight and ***** and cry. Doesn't seem like much fun anymore. Oh and before all you Britton fans start *****ing, I just call it

how I see it.

to the Britton kid--- I hope your race car looks like your face by the end of the day today. Isn't it somewhere getting "fixed"???? You get what you deserve eventually------

Here is the simple solution to the fighting at races if caught fighting and you started it life time ban from all racing events period no excuses no changing of this rule plain and simple, would make people think some before they started swinging and having heated discussions are different than throwing punches as everyone from one time or another gets mad but everyone needs to think, before they do something and yes always after you look upon it and tell yourself why did I do that TOO LATE!

and also to my defense i was standing there when nick and all his crew came to talk to bobby which led to a fight between nick and bobby. I tried to get in between both of them trying to break it up and ended up falling on nick. Whoever said that i tried to ****er punch nick is full of sh**. There was a tape of the whole incident which was showed to the state police and nick got arrested.Now if it would have been how some poeople have explained it i would be in jail too. And i do agree that is was not my battle and i was in the middle of it because i was standing there along with a hundred other people.but as far as this post im done So say what you want about me and call me a puss and whatever you want. I find it quite entertaining.
 
Congratulations to Todd on the win. Despite all the antics after the race, it's a huge accomplishment to win an event at DuQuoin.
 
Just my opinion - but if Bobby and Nick were "discussing" the race, then it should have remained between Bobby and Nick. There should be no reason for any crew member to step between them or get involved. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone, I just think it should stay between the drivers.
 
when it was those 2 face to face, it seemed just that, a heated discussion. It almost looked like nick was getting ready to go away and then other people stepped in and thats when everything went crazy.

Got to agree with you 100% on this one (because 1stbreak and I were pitted on each side of the 2x). Also, the video tape DID NOT have the whole incident recorded just the end of it.

T-nie, there was not a Dominator nose on any of the cars out there.
 
I was not at the race on Sunday due to work...

SO I do not now who hit who first....

I have watched Bobby and Nick both race for years....

They are both goood drivers....

Why does Garett Britton decide to get involved??????
I was at Tri-City earlier this year and he was involved in another altercation...
He clearly can not control his anger....

Why is this punk azz kid allowed into the pits of any race track?????????

If Nick and Bobby wanted to go at it so be it.... done.....

I do not agree with JDEARING postin the pictures of the incident last nite...

I thought that was in poor taste...and a real cheap shot.....

Since I have seen you ( JDEARING) with Nick in the past drinking beer with him....JMO....I have never seen any other such picts of any other altercations....
I will probably get a swift azz kickin for my comments.... SO BE IT...

Way to go Nick and Ducky.... They can't take that track record away from you....

Why would UMP want Nicks motor???? How many wins does he have this year?
 
I have nothing against Nick.. I posted all the pics I took including Britton with blood running down his face. If it happens at the track it is racing news!

I didn't post any picture that a newspaper or any local news station wouldn't have shown.
